Normally I don't bump threads, but I just wanted to make sure I was not imagining this videagame. Like, someone inserted fake memories in my head or something.
They assed first. I am only retaliating in an ass way. -The Dead Man's LifeI loved it when I was a kid. It really brought together both puzzle and action elements very well.
I still listen to the soundtrack sometimes, too.

Actually, I heard of it, though never played it (a friend of mine has a copy somewhere, but it's in German). Remind me - P.O.D. was a racing game similar to Wipeout, right?
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisYeah, P.O.D. was this racing game about people competing for the last shuttle off of an apocalyptic planet by wasting all their fuel jetting around ruined cities.
The first thing I remember about Hunter Hunted was destroying floating mines by punching them, to no ill effect. And food was a better healing item than the medkits. Man, the 90's were weird.

It's also one of the few PC games I know of that bears a split-screen multiplayer mode, with the intention that the second player uses a joystick or gamepad.
There should definitely be a page on Hunter Hunted, even if it is a pretty old game.

Are You The Hunter... Or The Prey?
Does anybody else remember this game? It was a 90's Sierra PC game, most notable for being one of the game C Ds that came with my father's first computer (the others being P.O.D., Xtreme Pinball, and Myst). It was about this bland white action hero guy named Jake who was kidnapped by aliens to participate in a Deadly Game against some enslaved alien guys. Jake and this one nice alien dude work together to construct a vehicle and escape their gunmetal grey prison. No the least bit original, but fun as hell.
At least read the Gamespot review linked in that Wikipedia article, which sounds like something you would spot in GameBro Magazine.
