You're spot on with that first pic of yours. (still waiting for the second link to load up)
EDIT: Second pic loaded. <blink blink> (goes to translate the above German phrases)
... Oh, Homura.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. So if Candeloro ties up her familiars when they try to leave her, does that mean they can't escape the barrier and kill people to become a copy of her? That's oddly sweet. Poor Mami might turn into a less destructive witch than average.
I don't know if any of you care about this, but Mark is reviewing the show! Starting next Thursday, he's posting a review once every weekday on his Mark Watches site. He likes to watch shows one episode at a time, writing a review after each one. He's also been commissioned to make a reaction video for each episode. Of course, I'm looking forward to 3, 8, and 10. He's very anti-spoiler, and I don't think he hangs out in anime-centric circles, so he should go into this COMPLETELY NOT PREPARED.
Mark's already started watching and posting tweets about the show. Apparently episode 3 had the usual effect on him. Maybe it's just projecting, but I think he'll have similar reactions to me. That is, analyzing the characters and plot as a narrative about teenagers first and magical girls second. I also think he'll
- love Sayaka, she'll be his favorite for at least a few episodes, and possibly empathize with her arc as a narrative about depression
- like Mami more after she talks about how lonely she is
- be angry at Kyouko in her introduction and then turn into a puddle of feels after her origin story
- be suspicious of the whole system from episode 1 or 2, and guess that there's a conspiracy or agenda exploiting the girls, but not guess that it's so malicious that the end goal is the destruction and misery of all magical girls
- possibly guess witches before episode 8, probably won't guess soul gems
- freak out every time Homura shows up because he won't be able to guess her motives; possibly predict that Homura works for a different contractor that Kyubey is opposed to, which I think is a red herring the show may have been trying to set up
- cry at least once
- have at least two ships, though I'm not guessing which ones
- rage excessively against Kyubey after episode 8, then be unable to decide how he feels after the entropy lecture
- be frustrated by the vagueness of the magical system
I can't wait!
... hm. Candeloro's card only mentions trapping visitors, so it wouldn't necessarily be the case that she traps them too. I see what you mean with "[The familiars] invite humans who enter the witch's barrier to her tea party. When they try to run away from her, the witch ties their hands and feet together", where there's enough ambiguity that "they" could refer to the familiars, but it's not my initial interpretation in context of the other card. Even so, "they" always refers to the familiars elsewhere on the card. Though either way it wouldn't be strange if she refused to let her familiars leave, so it's possible they would really never leave her.
On the other hand, other witches have their familiars fail them (Albertine, of course, and Charlotte to an extent, and Roberta's familiars only cause her disgust), so the familiars would reasonably try to escape occasionally. Even her mental projections of her friends are intent on leaving her alone?
I've only vaguely heard of that Mark, but I'm always happy to feed off the emotions of people watching the show.
(Somewhat less interesting series of reactions; the first few are fortunately short, and sometimes it seems like he has the best timing for certain comments. For episode 9 you have to skip manually, but most of it is at the end anyway.)

You will not go to space today.Repost: I... um... yeah.
but maybe somewhereMark's watching PMMM? This is going to be fun.
People are mirrors. If you smile, a smile will be reflected.I just noticed the blue hair.
I honestly think that's a bit of a stretch. Katy Perry always has weird hair and it doesn't even look much like Sayaka's anyway.
(I didn't say anything the first time you posted it because I didn't want to be rude.)
The baby bat/ Screamed out in fright,/ 'Turn on the dark,/ I'm afraid of the light.'Shhh. Let him have his fun.
Well obviously it's not intentional. It's just a hilarious coincidence, no need to be uptight about it.
The point is that they're both saying the "such a fool" line and happen to have blue hair. No one is saying the whole hairstyle is the same.

Well both fandoms did come about around the same time soooo...
And both shows sort of exploded in popularity. Only difference is people don't get pissed off at the mere mention of PMMM.

Yeah, and it happened sooner! Those aren't the first pony magi I've seen.
Not perfect, but my personal favorites. I would put them a bit older.
I like some of the styles better, but the other one's cutie marks were better, if a bit too elaborate.
Maybe it's the Rainbow Dash similarities, but I'm surprised no one set Sayaka as a pegasus, since it really seems to fit and I can see you judging me stop it!
No, Sayaka should be a sea pony.
SHOO BE DOO, SHOO SHOO BE DOO.
The baby bat/ Screamed out in fright,/ 'Turn on the dark,/ I'm afraid of the light.'Because mermaids.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThe witch ponies are adorable, especially Fluttertrud.
You will not go to space today.I actually really like the Fluttertrud one, especially the way her mane and tail look, and how the butterfly wings seem to be growing out of her regular wings.
The mustache is a great look for Angel.
The Angelthonies are great. I kind of want one.
This appears to be a hint for what's to come with the "Mark Watches" thing. After the seventh episode. Now I'm looking forward to it.
You will not go to space today.Oh yeah, and another little mermaid/Sayaka's-story-arc connection: The Little Mermaid is a story that mentions music a whole lot.
‽‽‽‽ ^These are interrobangs. Love them. Learn them. Use them.Oh the ending was very witch like...one slip and that's all (In her broken mind)... poor girl.
Eh, I think the fandom's had Homura do worse. I distinctly remember a pic where she uses MDKH's verwendete Damenslips to flavor an omelet by die Speicherung davon mit einem Ei.note
