In fairness, who of us plays Asteria?

I've never heard of Rondy or Asteria (though for the latter I assume I just forgot what it was and figure it's been talked about here before). And based on Mighty's avatar, I've spent all this time thinking that was a guy.

But hey, another slightly Ambiguously Brown Tales characters is alright in my book.

Rondy's from that PSP Narikiri Dungeon 1 remake. She's damn fine stuff.

Asteria's a mobile game that was never released outside of Japan.

Rondoline's is a character who showed up in the remake of Phantasia Narikiri Dungeon like Mighty said. That said, she's a bit Suiesh to me, as her part in the story feels like fanfiction to me. She was adopted by a man who was part of a legendary clan of assassins, and received training from him. She was also friends with Dhaos, who taught her magic, and need I say more? Heck, the only reason she's involved in the plot is because Dhaos gave her a ring that allowed time travel. Granted, this is all from a summary, and I never actually played the game, so maybe the writing handled all this better, but you can tell she was shoehorned in there.

At least the characters interduced in the R games had that whole mysterious otherworld plot thread going for them. Speaking of, I really want another R game to get a continuation of that.

Speaking of Narikiri Dungeon X, guess who was making a playable cameo there and is returning to that role for the Rays?

...I did not see a crossover coming. I don't see it coming to the English version either due to copyright. That said, I know jackshit about Idolmaster, so if Namco owns it, guess we will see it.

On a sidenote, what crossover would you guys like to see?

I don't remember any Idolmaster costumes in NDX...only Wonder Momo.

Yes she was there. You get her after you collect all the pact rings and speak to the old man at Namcot Island who also gives you all other cameo costumes.

Anyway, The Idolmaster is owned by Namco Bandai and that’s why all of its cameo costumes and collabs with Link can be brought over.

How come not all of you knew about Rondoline / Londrine? SHAME on you! One of the prettiest gals who isn't an arian type or has Gag Boobs. Kombat does very well using her image as Troper avatar... even if that leads to Troper Gender Confusion.

On another note... Natalia is now at the same EXP point total as Anise after training only her for an hour (kiled everyone else.) and finished the oil factory. Even got a couple red Chambers as drops! This was neccesary to manage our C-Cores properly. I won't bore you with details until Act 1 is over, to tell you impressions.

Opinion: gels and bottles should be as cheap as Magic lenses. In al situations. *gets 70 gald reward* Jeez, that's only one fifth of an Apple gel!

I swear they made Rondy's tits bigger for her Christmas images. And I like how her head actually looks newly drawn. Idolmaster Rondy kinda had a sort of copypasted head from the looks of it.

And yeah there was Idolmaster stuff in NDX. NDX had soem fun crossover stuff.

Speaking of Rondy, I recently showed a friend a picture of her in a bikini and asked him if he finds her attractive. The response I got was him telling me that he really doesn't care about Rondoline. He most likely thinks there's nothing special about her.

You ignored the por guy, fellas. Then again, this topic is slow.

Okay, I finished Abyss' first act. I made sure to not leave any side stuff behind this time. I rechecked how is Luke treated after the mess he made, but nope. His party members still treat him like shit even though a couple of them know he is the equivalent of a 7 year old. The Duel Boss with Asch happened and I did a lot better than on the emulator, but when he is at about 30% of his HP there is a mini cutscene and he Turns Red, properly chaining his combos and destroying you at the slightest fluke. You CAN beat him, but takes far more concentration and gels than you are willing to spend.

On the sidequest side... I remebered to give Apple gels to the guy in Yulia City (man, this quest is both TOO time sensitive and requires not selling anything since he asks for totally random crap) and Natalia learnt an arte from some guy at Sheridan port (I forgot to explore with the Tartarus the first time because I wanted Asch out of my party ASAP.) Yeah, at this point in the plot its the 'Jerkass Has a Point arc', but later Asch loses all his mojo towards the players because SHUT UP REPLICA.

Asch never had a point. He was always a brat throwing a tantrum nd honestly never could stand him.

Asch literally died because he couldn't move on from the whole replica thing. And it ended up with his corpse getting hijacked by Luke, which just goes to show something.

The fact that Replcas were the basis of Van's plan is the sole reason he turned against him too.

The more I see it, the more I gotta admit that yeah, Abyss' writing is pretty bad even in the rather good first act and even the real stellar second act. Not to mention they try to make Asch sorta sympathetic by having him..sorta act nice with Natalia and even then he's so fucking abrasive to everyone else that it falls absolutely flat and leads to Natalia being Asch's cheerleader and an excuse to have Jade slap her near the end of the game (seriously, fuck that scene and fuck Jade.)

There was also the scene where Luke made him see their mom and dad.

Heh.

You could argue that for all the points about how Luke is emotionally 7 years old, Asch is the same, even if for different reasons.

That's what ultimately puts the former ahead: his desire to actually want to be better.

Abyss was so awful. Easily the one I hate the most out of the games I've played.

...Really? I mean, I know the shit with Luke became rather controversial, but I was under the impression Abyss was considered one of the better games in the franchise.
