I'm not sure if there is a save distance to watch that particular relationship from.

Or rather, there might be a safe distance right now, but I'm not sure I would want to be in the same universe once Agero decides it is time for their relationship to... "culminate."

Speaking of names... that is a hard one to figure out. Is it Ag-er-o, A-ger-o, Ag-e-ro... Not to mention the emphasis could be on any of the three syllables.

[lol]Generally speaking so do I. But the subject has come up in this thread, so I couldn't help thinking about it when the name itself was pointed out.

Oh well. Even if someone could convince me that it was pronounced a specific way, I would probably forget it quickly. Not much of one for remembering names (though I'm even worse with spelling them).

Wow that is quite the art bump. And a great way to round off the chapter.

Yeah... Crazy.

[up] I was just thinking that. The art was amazing.

I am going to love Koon's Merry Misadventures with pyscho-laughter Rachel.

[up][up]Seriously: SIU's art on Tower of God wasn't bad to start with (his other stuff... the little I have managed to see, thanks to GoDai, is rough and ready to say the least, although still recognisable as his), but it's just got really incredible these last few months. :)

I like the way that adding a little crazy has started to change the tide on some of the Rachel-hate. At least now a few people are willing to step back a bit and do some analytical thinking, rather than just going with the rage. grin

What's so hard about that. A Korean or Japanese person would pronounce that as "A-ge-ro". That's what the hangul letters would say.

I don't think Koreans know or care about how to pronounce the name. I don't know, that's just me.

About Rachel, guess what; she became the largest meme[[hottip:*: in the history of Korean webtoon. It goes like this:

  • "_____ is Rachel's fault."

  • "Rachel did it."

  • "[insert something completely unrelated to TOG]...and that's why Rachel need to die."

This shows up even in the comment sections of other webtoons so people are getting annoyed. Anyhow, it's really damn amusing.

[up]Why can't I help but think SIU is rubbing his little trolly hands in glee at that? Cue we're going to be slapped in the face with some of the reasons and why-fors at some point. And, boy... I suspect the rabid haters without reason are going to feel stuuuuuuupid. wink

I believe the fact that none of the other characters have the right to judge somebody like Rachel was pretty much the point of the last arc. I mean, look at Baam alone. He killed/heavily injured four people just because he wants to figure out how he feels about Rachel. Is that really any more excusable than what she did?

And, then there's the little wandering black hole of morality that is Agero Agnis Koon Esquire. That he's doing a lot of dirty dealing for a dead friend (in his mind), doesn't make it any whiter than dark grey, at best. We're in a land of -agonists, people: in a different light, they can all be pros or ants. wink

Defeating people who knew what they were up for and would do the same for you =/= trying to murder your friend, lying and using his friends to get a free ticket up, when you are not even qualified to climb in the first place.

Seriously even Headon thinks she loathsome and has no business in the tower. And that's something, because seeing some bastards he lets in he has pretty low standards.

I could well be falling for a Reverse Psychology trap of SIU's devising, who knows... but at least I realise it. smile

Nia, then. Especially considering that Wangnan most certainly was not the first person he'd pulled that routine on. Or Androssi, what with her deciding to start teamkilling despite not being in any real danger of failing, killing all of her siblings and hundreds of people in her first test.

Also, I wouldn't put too much stock in what Headon says to people's faces. Remember how he treated Baam, and how completely he 180'd once the guy was out of the room? Methinks he'll just say whatever he thinks will push somebody to climb. If she really was completely unwanted, how could she have gotten in the first place? It's not like she enough power to force her way in.*

I'm not convinced 'qualified to climb' actually means anything, in fact. As far as I can tell, if you able capable of climbing, you are qualified to do so, and your methods are irrelevant.

Yup... Headon is a Blue and Orange Trickster with an Agenda we have very little information of. That doesn't make for words to trust, even if they are the truth. Exact Words, anybody? The truth can lie, if spun enough.

Oh Koon why do I love you so much? Although I'm not really sure why he's still helping her climb. Wants to figure out who helped her aside from the administrator? Just morbid curiosity?

Rachel you're getting a little stir crazy aren't ya?

Ok, so new chapter it out:

Hwa Ryun is back! She continues to be the most beautiful. And most awesome. I really can't wait when we learn more about her. What are her loyalties, why is she helping Viole? etc.

Is there anything that Viole can't do? He kicks ass, he can cook, he can clean, and his name strikes fear in all the wannabes.

Figures that Yihwa is the most suspicious of Viole, seeing as she comes from one of the families. Now, this will be an interesting meet.

Did... did Prince shrunk this chapter?

Looking forward to more revelations about FUG and their relation to what is happening.

Version I saw had 4 "side stories" that didn't make it into the Epilogue of the previous arc. #1 was ok, 2 and 3 made me smile, 4 made me tear up.

One of these days mooks will learn not to impersonate people that can rip them to pieces because they may not like it.

Also that red head is totally part of FUG

That crappy makeshift FUG t-shirt was da bomb.

So this is gonna be an arc with a lot of flash backs. SIU's flash backs tend to be short and fragmental, do you think he will do that here as well?
