You don't fully see the world around you. You assume that things beyond your understanding could not possibly have their own logic to them (because clearly nothing could possibly be beyond you). You assume that others are more like yourself than they actually are. Overall, it all comes down to too much focus on yourself and not enough on the rest of the world.

Life isn't infinite, so stating the obvious isn't the greatest way to live.
