That dude who's always standing with his back to the reader better be damn impressive when he finally does stuff. Always standing with his back to the reader.
Also, the Not Equals aren't so much good at that undercover thing, huh?

Forever liveblogging the AvengersOH MY GAWD Kumagawa's reward for being the most popular character is.... Naked Apron everywhere!
What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...Which I guess disproves the joke that such an eventuality would get the series cancelled for censorship reasons?
Speaking of Guy-who's-always-facing-away-from-the-camera, isn't he Shiranui's brother? What happened to her anyway? It seemed like she was going to be important last arc, and then she wasn't. I kinda miss her. She was one of my favorite characters early on, and it's still kind of implied that she's a match for Kumagawa in Minus-ness. It'd be kind of weird if she didn't have a role in this arc either.
Is it just me or does Anshinin look particularly sexy? >_<

Free hands are considered throughout the world to be somewhat attractive. Some people may disagree though.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersNot for me though. Free hands, shackl— un-free hands, as long as the person in question is attractive...
Yes, I find Anshin'in attractive. I dunno why.
Yeah, he's Shiranui's brother.
And Shiranui's... it's kind of hard to define what her role in the story is exactly, but she's always been behind the scenes, so... yeah. But with her brother's presence she just might get more screentime.

I might have to read this after hearing the anime will be done by Studio Gainax.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialAny thoughts on Chapter 115?
I treat all living things equally. That is to say, I eat all living thingsNo. Because it and chapter 114 aren't out yet on the site where I read the boxing.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI'm finishing catching up on this, and I must say, if any part of this deserves to be animated, it's the Class -13 Arc. Kumagawa's character arc was just brilliant in so many ways.

"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Not to mention his constant abuse of I Lied and just how horrifying a world that runs on fighting manga logic would be.

I treat all living things equally. That is to say, I eat all living thingsUnfortunately I cannot read Chinese so it's not entirely helpful.
So, one thing I did want to clarify. Unless I'm reading bad translations, the true nature of the different skill classes was never really made clear to me. As I understand it:
Normal: Your average joe schmoe, John Q. Public, whatever. Usually skill-less and typically a Plus.
Special: The talented and unique, who may possibly possess minor gifts and are usually Badass Normals
Abnormal: The supermen, who's minds and perceptions are so different, so out there (and not always in a bad way) that they change major things about themselves, or even the way reality reacts to them
Minus: Someone who gained Abnormal abilities not through lucky genes, but through a life-time of shit, one which warped their brains far beyond the strange neuroses of an Abnormal
Not-Equal: Artificially created people given life by Ajimu, who can be either Normal, Abnormal, or Minus, depending on how many fucks Ajimu decides to give today
Am I wrong?

I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialI don't think Minuses and abnormally are fundamentally different; Minuses are a subtype of abnormal that tends to be Blessed with Suck.
Or at least, that's how I understand. They're abnormals with abilities that seem cool, but make their lives hell in practice.

"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."They make a pretty big deal early on that minuses are fundamentally different from pluses. Like, they are immune to pseudo-scientific explanation for their powers.
Indeed. Even a pseudo-scientific explanation for something like All-Fiction would be completely ridiculous. Better just not to think about it.
I think it's Abnormals, which are then divided into Pluses and Minuses, depending on how life treats them. Then you have the Normals. And then you have the Not Equals, which are legion.
Who oddly enough don't fit the usual description.
I dunno, I rather like Ajimu. I never really saw the harm in the Flask Plan anyway and for a nigh-omnipotent god-like being, she seems pretty affable.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialAnime adaptation is now officially announced, after being rumored for quite a while.
Who is it attached to? Is it Gainax? I heard it might be Gainax.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersThat wasn't part of the announcement. They just wrote "getting an anime!" in big letters somewhere.
Please be Gainax please be Gainax please please please

New chapter.
This was a good one.
Okay, Kumagawa-Medaka interactions are just hilarious.
How sucky is Kumagawa's life? The happier he gets, the stronger their enemy gets. Wow.
Book Maker's still an awesome ability though.
Aww, Akune just wanted to be called by his first name. He deserved it too, exploiting a weakness (!) of Medaka's Altered God Mode. But still... who will win this penalty shoot out? I'm guessing... Zenkichi! Because Rule of Funny.
Guess you guys were right about the whole climbing the clock tower thing. Except it's not Zenkichi who does it.
