And Scott Pilgrim defeated the 7 most powerful fighters in Canada.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatIncluding a Tetsuo ripoff, who, like Tetsuo could put a crater in the moon thanks to Vegan powers.
Watch SymphogearHuh, what do you know. I guess fighting someone like him would put Travis...
-sunglasses on-
...in a vegetative state.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Actually he didn't beat that guy in a straight up fight. Scott got his ass kicked by him until he was depowered by the Vegan Police for eating forbidden foods earlier in the comic (In the movie Scott tricked him into drinking Half and Half)

A corpse should be left well enough alone...Scott still beat up Gideon. Who could like turn into a giant digtal abomination or somesuch. That's what I remember from the game.

This is a signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.Sorry; unfamiliar with those.
Raiden at the time of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance vs. Mass Effect's Kai Leng.
Hell, let's up the ante and say Raiden vs. a Reaper (Rules of Nature or Collective Conciousness are a must).

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Hahahahaha.
HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Fucking RAIDAN!? Are you serious!? Oh my god, how much do you hate Leng? I know he was annoying, but come on.
Anyway... I can't see him taking on a Reaper. He has killed some REALLY big things before, and seems to follow anime physics, but the average Reaper is still like two kilometers and comes equipped with armor strong enough to resist 38 kilotons of TNT equivalent in kinetic energy and tons of cannons, including a bunch of laser turrets designed to shoot down fighters.

...Heh, I can't just throw him against a Reaper without a single mook before, can I?
I wonder if the Reapers are equiped to deal with organics crazy enough to fight them up close with an Absurdly Sharp Blade. I don't think firing lasers or other assorted weapons right at themselves is a good idea.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."The Reaper can't shoot itself... even if it could, only its main gun is capable of causing any damage.
I just wonder if he can actually even hurt something that big and durable, Absurdly Sharp Blade or no. I'm going to assume he can't, unless I missed/forgot something really important in that game. The Reaper could also just blow up the city they're both in.

...I think you might be overestimating a Reaper's destructive abilitiy there. It took dozens of them to destroy an entire city.
As for Raiden, I don't know. Raiden is small and very fast giving the Reaper little chance to hit him. I don't think the Reaper would have time to indoctrinate him, or could because he's fucking crazy. And Raiden's blade can easily cut through thick armor. If nothing else Raiden might be able to pick it up and slam it.
I'd say its more of a contest of luck.
PM box is Closed, Indefinitely Friend Code: 3368-4181-6850Yep. If Shepard managed to get up close to one of the "small" ones and live to tell the tale, I'm sure an anime-physics cyborg ninja could do so too.
Besides, Rule of Cool. After all, in his own game there's no way Raiden could have damaged something like Metal Gear Excelsus by just hitting its sword thingies. We're not exactly dealing with reasonable physics here. note
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."That's the problem with mixing anime and "realistic" physics. It's like saying Sora versus any Metal Gear of your choice.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Yeah, that's pretty much a given. Still a cool mental image though.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Codex gives the destructive yield for their main guns as 400+ kilotons. I'm not overstating anything. Worst case scenario the Reaper just destroys Raidan and everything in the general area he's standing in. Even if it couldn't, which it can, it's far, far too big and heavy for Raiden to even think about doing anything to it... other than dying against it.
Wait, are you talking about the small ones or the 'real' Reapers? The capital Reapers would crush him, but I can see him taking on the smaller ones, which seem to suck. A lot. I mean they can take orbital bombardment no problem unless they're hit directly and repeatedly on their weak spot while it's priming, but at the very least they have no way of hurting Raidan on part of being abysmal shots, and the Reapers apparently cutting corners with them by not even giving them PD lasers.

...Samus Aran (without her Power Suit) vs Lara Croft
Vote. .#Bayonetta 4 SmashSamus probably wins. She's superhuman and her gun is strong enough to stun Space Pirates and bust up walls.
...This one would probably be very difficult to determine the winner, but:
Sam Fisher Vs. Solid Snake.
Living The Fever DreamSnake due to more absurd weaponry and physics not mattering to him.
...Yeah. Sam Fisher is good, but even his more recent outings are still far, far to realistic to be a credible threat to Solid Snake.

@Azure: Given that the reapers in ME3 had already pretty much crushed the forces of Citadel space and were moving on the "harvest" part of the cycle, I imagine they were deliberately trying to minimize casualties not part of the harvesting process.
Correct me if I'm wrong since I'm not particularly familiar with either of those, but with the Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos is essentially omnipotent, and that other guy was defeated by a beat down, albeit one that could easily destroy planets or something.
Also, I'd like to put A Max Level Tier 3 MEC Trooper vs a Space Marine Terminator.

This is a signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine. They were. That's explicitly stated. It's also stated that individual ships can simply blow up a city in one shot if they want to, and have weapons even more powerful than their 400 kiloton cannons; they wouldn't be a credible threat otherwise considering the tech-tier of the guys they're fighting.
Infinity Gauntlet Thanos is nigh-omnipotent. He stomps.

Ezio can use Hawk's Vision, or whatever it was called, but yeah, I guess it's not much of a superpower. XP
I haven't watched Scott Pilgrim, but didn't Travis carve through the best assassins in America?
