A Sega fighting game wouldn't be complete without Kazuma Kiryu.

Yeah, that's the end of Risky's Revenge; Risky takes away Shantae's magic. And then you fight the final boss.

The talk of Shantae here reminded me to make a request in the Half-Genie thread. I feel like we should use that thread instead for people getting into the games because of Smash. It was already kind of being used as a general series thread despite the thread title regardless.

Honestly, at this point, even if she didn't get in, it kind of feels like Shantae—and Shovel Knight, for that matter—are "honorary Smashers" or something thanks in part to the ballot.

My opinion on them's calmed down a bit. I still find Shantae boring (likely because I haven't gotten far enough to do anything yet), but I may give SK a try.

...Runner 2 and Scram Kitty can still just fuck off, though.

So I just found out Greninja's Final Smash is a Visual Pun of sorts. Part of his Japanese name (Gekkou) can be read as "light of the moon" and so he that's why there's the Full Moon Silhouette
