3DS only here. What's missing? From what little I've seen in one or two videos it looks like 3DS Duck Hunt stage has everything Wii-U does

The Duck Hunt stage doesn't change forms. The most it does is add an extra platform for a moment if you get all the ducks that fly around.

Mega Man is referred to as masculine, but Mewtwo only ever gets gender-neutral language in official media.

Add to that that we got two different Mewtwos in the movies, with one having a femenine voice, and that Sm4sh Mewtwo combines elements from both that Mewtwo and the original movie one, and yeah...

The birth thing is Early-Installment Weirdness and might have been metaphorical anyway.

By the time Smash 4 Mewtwo was revealed, there was already another Mewtwo with a female voice that existed (one that explicitly Mega Evolves into Mega Mewtwo Y, even, and was stated to be different from the previous Mewtwo Ash had encountered). If they wanted to, they could've easily given this Mewtwo that voice. Keep in mind that Mewtwo in Smash also spoke in phrases, at least in the Japanese version of Melee, where it was basically movie!Mewtwo.

It's kind of irrelevant anyway. Mewtwo's a genderless Pokemon, unlike the rest of the playable mons.^note Pikachu is male thanks to its tail, Lucario is basically the one from the movie, which was also male, and Greninja's gender was revealed when it became an event Pokemon in Generation 6 that promoted its presence in Smash. Charizard and Jiggs are the only ones I'm not sure of, though most people assume the latter is female thanks to its accessories.

Quick question, was Palutena an exclusive amiibo?

Jiggs is suggested to be female by the gender ratio of the species and its selection of headwear, but yeah, the only one we can be sure of is Pikachu.

Greninja is kinda confirmed male by the event Sm4sh Greninja for X/Y that is rigged to always be male.

Apparently, certain versions of the game refer to Charizard with masculine pronouns. So there's that

Best Buy, meanwhile, is restocking Dark Pit right now, along with Lucario, Greninja, and Shulk (yep, they're not exclusive anymore).

In other news the organizer of the tournament I went to is planning to make another one in December and he asked me if I'll be going in advance because he was planning on using my name among other notable players from the state.
