How would you not know what a VCR is?
That's like not knowing what a record player is.
-cue someone saying they don't know what either are- :P
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseYeah I remember some of our video stores (not that I got to rent much) but man, I swear I never saw that movie on the shelves.
Ok, my mind has completely blanked on me. Does anyone remember which review was the one Chuck first put forth the 'dukat likes to edit his memory' meme? (or even narrow down which possible DS 9 review)
I think it was one of the ones during the Dominion control of DS 9 arc.
Possibly the one with Worf dealing with Alexander on the Bird of Prey as another plot.

Don't know when he first did it, but this trait's referenced in the Maquis, and a Time to Stand.
Found it. I was thrown off because release date wise, it was earlier than some other Dukat episodes, but it was the latest one Chuck has in production order.

Goodbye, Shithead
Dressed to Kill.I think this should have been the last Voyager review. I see no better note to leave on than Neelix finally getting dumped.
How many episodes are even left for him to do at this point?
He's done 104 episodes, assuming you count all the multi part episode who share names (ie: Scorpion 1 and 2) as one.
Voyager has 172 episodes
Janeway, the PD only exists when it justifies her position
Quick question. I've seen every episode of Madoka, but none of the movies. Do the first 2 movies act as a recap of the series well enough that If I were to watch the third movie tonight I wouldn't be confused? Are there any major differences between the movies and the series that I should know about?
Almost no difference—the music's a little different and some of the background art is changed up, but that's pretty much all.
The only real difference is, as I understand it, in the opening music,. which is different from the series'. There's some imagery that gets a thematic reprise in Rebellion.

Yes, you the player can now have AmbASSador Sh__head be your guide when the Federation returns to the Delta Quadrant.
All night at the computer, cuz people ain't that great. I keep to myself so I won't be on The First 48Fucker's got diplomatic immunity now?
Good going, Janeway. If this is some master plan to make us all suffer because you had to suffer years on the same ship as him...you've won, now can you please undo that damage?

Watching movies is worth it only if you like rewatching things you already saw, if not, better skip to Rebellion.

Fun fact: Macfarlane and Gaiman's dispute eventually made its way to Judge Richard Posner, arguably the most respected judge in the United States who is not on the Supreme Court. In Posner's opinion, it is made abundantly clear that he is a massive comics nerd and was very excited to have two major comics industry figures in his court room.

Yay! More full moon!
Comics 9??? How many parts is this?
13, I think.
Ah poor Walter Koenig... Moontrap was one of those cheesy B-movies that made owning a VCR fun. But it was cheesier than the video store's extra large nachos....
....Beat....
Those of you who don't know what a VCR is just smile and nod, you're makin' me feel old!
Ahem.
Anyways, the local video store in town got lots of B-movies and Moontrap was the first one I got to see that wasn't a family film or a blockbuster. Soon the companies that shipped those b-movies started to import anime as well.
That's right, before you kids had your netflicks-hulu-on demands with your crunchyrolls and your torrents, we had to trek to the video store to see what new animes and sci-fi movies came in... and we liked it!
~* takes old lady pills *~
The largest one in town had pool tables, large TV's to show off the new releases, two(!) arcade games (I was the Galaga queen!) and a snack food bar with junk food prOn that was NSFW (not safe for waistline...).
Ah, memories.
