Apparantly, they wanted a monotone voice actor for some reason.
In Bowsers Inside Story, Bowser is the main protagonist. He gets a enemy/rival named Midbus. Bowser can turn giant to fight things in that game. There was no Giant Bowser and Midbus fight like I expected.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more! The younger versions of the Final Fantasy characters and the somebodies [1] of Organisation XIII were missing in Birth by Sleep. For a game that explained almost everything else and wasn't full to the brim with the Kudzu the second game introduced and the rest of the series has been focused on clearing up, I was pretty disappointed that they weren't able to work it in.

Against all tyrants. At least it had Zack.
...Who promptly died in the credits[1].
[1] I'd link to the WMG or put this in a hottip, but I can't figure out how to do such a thing with spoiler tags there without frakking it up.

Against all tyrants. As much of a Scrappy Level as the fight with the Batomys was in Valkyria Chronicles, I really would have liked to see a proper final battle with and on top of a fully-functional Marmota at the end. Instead the huge tank just gets disabled in a cutscene, and you have two fairly lackluster missions.
Torment liveblog is still hiatusing. You can vandalize my contributor page if you want something to do.For all the neat mechanics and other miscellanea that went into it, Rise Of Legends's campaign was kind of So Bad It's Silly.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableAll of Quest64, whose only distinguishably interesting combat mechanic punished you for using it correctly.
In Sonic Colors, Eggman hits Tails with a mind-controlling beam at a cutscene, but we don't get to fight Tails before he recovers. =(
Or, to go with the major Chickification of her character(look at the unsubtle themes of motherhood to see what I mean), a much wimpier one.
Oh god. Don't start this argument again. -_-

In Super Mario Galaxy 2, I wondered how they would improve the hub system, like make it more expansive and on par with Super Mario 64 in terms of size. I was disappointed to know they went with a world map instead, which this being a 3D Mario title, baffled me to no end.

Cesare Borgia being a complete let down as a villain in Assassins Creed Brotherhood, from his lack of screen time, to his Narm filled killing of Rodrigo Borgia (An APPLE?! SERIOUSLY!?), and the fact that I wanted an epic uprising against him with the Assassin Recruits as you storm the Vatican.
It really sapped away from what would otherwise be an epic final battle.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...A minor one, but in Donkey Kong Country Returns I had hoped the boss of World 4 would be fought as a fully-fledged minecart level, given that's the theme of the world. Instead, it has pseudo-minecart sections between a whack-a-mole style battle against several moles and the head mole.
To be fair, part of the reason for Samus's monotone in Other M is because most of her dialogue is narration after the story. Her in-story lines tend to carry a little more emotion. Although I still would have preferred Jennifer Hale.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Mass Effect 2, it was good but just not EPIC. It needed more massive story moments, instead it was a bunch of recruitment stuff.
You will never love a women as much as George Lucas hates his fans.Doctor Strange not being in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. Normally I'm not the type of guy to wonk about his favorite character not being in a video game, but I think Strange would be super cool.
In Kirbys Epic Yarn, I would have loved to see Dolphin Kirby vs. Yarn Acro. They fit Wispy and Kracko in as minibosses fought with super-transformations, so...

Also Kirbys Epic Yarn, should have been hijacked by Yarn 02/3. Would have made me so happy, especially if it caused the world to literally unravel as you fought it.
"Evii is right though" -Saturn "I didn't know you were a bitch Evii." -Lior ValZack and Angeal in Crisis Core.
It would have been much better if Angeal was in human form.

I don't think I'll ever forgive Nomura for not making this◊ the final boss of Kingdom Hearts II. Don't get me wrong, Dragon-Mecha Xemnas was pretty cool, but this looked freaking awesome!
GOH! JII! RAH!I'm a bit surprised they didn't get David Wise back for Donkey Kong Country Returns. You might consider that inane, but he recently became a freelance composer. One hopes he will come back for the inevitable sequel...
They made Sonic playable in Super Smash Bros and mitigated Little Mack to an assist instead of the other way around, nothing from Prowrestling...Sonic is found at the end of the great maze instead of Geno...trophies from already released crappy Sonic games instead of previews to future titles...horrible Sonic Music and no music from Eternal Darkness.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackI take it you have something against Sonic.

You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Oh dear; what did Sonic do to you this time[hottip:*:besides simply existing at all, that is. Wiseass...]]?
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows. No, the real missed moment of awesome in super smash bros is the subspace emissary. You have a collection of some of the greatest videogame icons ever, with various backgrounds and cool personalities, and you have a chance to write a potentially epic story with them. the sheer scope of cool interactions boggles the mind.
So what does Sakurai do? He writes the narrative equivilent of another fucking kirby game. Bias much?
But seriously, I would pay good money for any game that took the colorful characters of smash bros and put them in a epic adventure- WITH DAILOUGE, NINTENDO. I mean, is it so bad to have a silent character talk in a game outside their canon, so long as they get the personality right?
A good writer puts in a lot of details in there story. But a great one gets a story from a single detail.
Sometimes, you expect a game to have something completely awesome, but for some reason, the game developers gloss over it entirely. Post them here.
The biggest one for me was Jennifer Hale not reprising her role as Samus in Metroid Other M. She's a highly respected and very talented voice actress who has played Samus in every canon game since Prime, and when you hear that he game would have Samus fully voiced, this would be the clear choice. Instead, they get some inexperienced one who has only narrated TV commercials in the past to do it instead. Hale could have EASILY saved the terrible script and Samus's even worse lines, she's just that good, we instead we get this chick.
