Yes. Talking to you about this seems like it will be an effort in futility. No this does not mean you "win" in any form. More that it means I've seen this far too often and know now that correct response is to just abandon the conversation as soon as humanly possible. ^And yes the topic is supposed to be about actual gay and bisexual characters in games and not just Hetero Sexual Life Partners (where Sora/Riku and Frodo/Sam fall in terms of relationship).

The Mystics in Saga Frontier, with two guys (Ciato and Rastaban) being in a relationship according to Word of Gay, not to mention Asellus herself (Though her plot had Unfortunate Implications of a Cure Your Gays storyline, complete with Word of God about how she's not gay, she was just infected by the Big Bad's bi-ness)
The Suikoden series isn't shy about its Camp Gay characters (Narcissists~). Also, quite a few bi-characters and one lesbian in Lelei (She fell for Lucretia´s pretty — I MEAN, she was concerned about Lucretia). If we also include the liberal amounts of intentional Ho Yay (Would you like my... carrot?), that would add nearly every male of any importance in the series. :p
Grim Grimoire's main couple is pretty out about it. I'm not sure how else we're supposed to interpret the Exiled to the Couch scene for example.
Pratty's path in Summon Night Swordcraft Story, with one girl being infatuated with Pratty after she beats her, and of course, there's Sugar, who's first act upon being summoned is to give Pratty a deep kiss and who spends the entire game trying to convince Pratty to get married with her and considers other females as rivals for her love.

They never "gazed" into each other's eyes (unless you think merely looking at each other equals gazing) and the most they did was acknowledge that they're pretty equal in terms of merit and that they don't need to "imitate" or get the better of each other. They were essentially getting over the friendly rivalry they've had for years.
The rest of the conversation basically consists of having two teenage Disney characters imply that they're fine with dying since the other side is safe. The fact that they happen to be doing so while with another friend is a plus.
