Nah, all Elizabeth does is warp time and space with her mind, as well as feature telekinesis.
Heavy Hitters are Bosses in Mook Clothing.
Jonah FalconElizabeth's powers seem to be more based in sci-fi, what with manipulating timestreams and parallel universes, rather than being born of the paranormal, such as the siren. That's what he was getting at.
"Teebs is a total grump, but he's usually right." - NLKAnd you know this ... how? Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane. How are her powers any more fantastic than floating around in mid-air and bringing fresh corpses back to life?

Jonah Falcon^^^Ah okay.
The Motorized Patriot is an animatronic George Washington originally used as a "rah rah America" propaganda spouting tour guide now turned into the Terminator, and the Handymen are clearly being manufactured by some heavy industry that likely does not support socialism. The ones that remain ambiguous are the Boys of Silence and the Siren. And even so I have this (admittedly quite ) theory about the Boys of Silence that ties them into are more likely to be Founder affiliated: given the Founders and Columbia's eugenicist ideals, it is possible that they would make people stricken with blindness "useful" for turning them into living proximity detectors.
In regards to the Siren I did also think it was weird that despite going the Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane route with Elizabeth, suddenly having a supernatural enemy was weird...but then I started thinking. What if in this game's universe what people THINK are "medium" powers is actually interdimensional in nature: perhaps she's not raising the dead per se, but rather swapping them with their counterparts with another dimension? They will likely not come with such an elaborate explanation but if they did, I'd be so happy.
Didn't say they were any less fantastic, just that they're quite likely more grounded in sci-fi than paranormal fiction. Because, traditionally, elements such as alternate timelines and parallel universes are a hallmark of science fiction stories, rather than being associated with ghost stories. Telekinesis is a harder power to pin down, since in fiction it's frequently associated with both sci-fi and paranormal, although I see it more often in stuff involving sci-fi than stuff involving ghosts and magic.
Anyways, I never said that her powers had a sci-fi origin for certain, only that prior evidence from both the Bioshock series and general trends in fiction supported that theory and Carkaroth's casual observation.

"Teebs is a total grump, but he's usually right." - NLKThe Siren only resurrects fresh corpses.
Keep in mind, we're already accepting the fact there's telekinesis is in the game - so the Siren has that.
THEN, you're merely re-energizing dead bodies. Ever heard of zombies? You don't know that they're permanently alive. After they kill you, maybe they collapse, dead again.
Or, maybe Elizabeth is simply magic.
Jonah FalconOr maybe Elizabeth shares half of her soul with the Songbird.
Either way, I can't wait. This game sounds better and better and better.
My April Fool's - the fifth Heavy Hitter is the Fruit Fucker.
Jonah FalconI'd pay money to see THAT.
Seriously, the Motorized Patriot and the Boys of Silence are f**king creepy.
Eh, I personally find the Motorized Patriot more narmy than anything, what with the flags sticking out of his back like star-spangled wings and all.
Come to think about it, I think pretty much all the enemies presented so far are rather narmy/goofy/over-the-top. Though the Boys of Silence will probably be quite disturbing to be in the presence of in actual gameplay, just by simple virtue of being this game's Surveillance Drones.
"Shepard raids Kai Leng's hideout. Eats his cereal." - Crimson ZephyrI'll start a petition to include the Fruit Fucker as a Heavy Hitter.
Jonah FalconGame delayed to February. I was kind of expecting this, with the extended silence and all.
That may break my roommate's heart. I know I can wait for it, but he can't seem to do the same. Ah well; it would've made a great Halloween game.
Though to be honest, I think it'd be great to release this around President's Day in February, just for all the additional commotion it'll cause from the Moral Guardians.
Feh. Assassins Creed III is coming out on October 30. Don't need both games at the same time :p

Jonah Falcon"Celebrate the holiday by shooting propaganda spouting Terminator George Washington in the face!"

I can imagine some really nice advertising for the holiday. Just show some Youtube or news clips with recent Occupy Wall Street or Tea Party clips with a voiceover reading the beginning of the constitution over it, ending with the Bioshock Infinite logo slowly decaying with "Remember the Founders" under it.
Indeed, that would be the perfect way to honor the father of our nation. Destroy profane mechanical mockeries made in his image! Then steal their gun and go on a rampage!

"Shepard raids Kai Leng's hideout. Eats his cereal." - Crimson ZephyrReason for delay: multiplayer.
Jonah FalconFUCK
Sorry, that was the first response that went to my head. The second was...
SHIT
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.smh.
Don't get me wrong, I'll be happy when it comes out.
I just don't like multiplayer games in general. :/
