I still think that in someway, Gunbuster and Diebuster, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Gurren Lagann are connected spiritually.

I would seriously lol if the Rebuild movies ended in a similar vein to Gunbuster and Diebuster, complete with splitting a black hole in half.

wow. given all the isolation symbolism the headphones represent, seeing Shinji sharing his is quite a shock and an even more pronounced indicative of Rebuild's divergence of tone from the TV series

They all have two subttiles. "You (blank) (not) (Blanke)" has been the subtitles of all the movies.

Q Quickening is the japanese name I think. The rest of the world, or at least the english speaking world, gets the 1.0, 2.0 etc.

I could definitely be wrong though.

Ya know, I just thought, looking in the trailers, we see Asuka and Mari fighting something, but we're not sure what it is and we don't see the Evas themselves. One of the fights is certainly Arael, but I'm wondering, might we see Mari revealed as a bad guy?

Weren't Mari and Asuka in the same cockpit in one of those shots though?

Hasn't Mari appeared in any of the spinoff manga yet? I know it's impossible in Sadamoto's at this point, but are the Ikari Raising Project one and Campus Apocalypse still going?
