The problem is that kishimoto killed too many characters, and didn't intend them to stay dead. It is consistent in-universe, resurrection has been done, and Pain is much, much (much, much, much) more powerful than Chiyo.

Meh, looks like he was simply feeding the last of his enormous chakra to the King of Hell in exchange for the latter spitting out the souls of the just-deceased. We've seen the big guy before (Dead Demon Consuming Seal ring a bell?) so it's not a complete Ass Pull.

Oh, Crap!, the spoilers were real?! Not good for our heroes...but it's also not good for Sasuke because Konoha's already been leveled down!

So now Sasuke's going to try and kill all the 5 kages. Seriously, what on earth is this boy's problem? He's so pathetically kill-happy it's hilarious, and I fully expect him to be beaten down in a manner most awesome.

And yay for my favorite trio in all of Naruto making a reappearance! Sand Siblings are go!

Sasuke is basically magic-eye Zuko now.

Y'know, I was pretty tolerant towards Sasuke before now. (It probably helps that I read the last Sasuke stuff in two blocks rather than getting it one chapter a week.) But his latest brainwave bugs me so much. I really hope the only kage he fights is Gaara because then he might get some sense beat into him. (Only he wouldn't learn from it because of his clear suicidal overconfidence.) There are so many plotlines developing at the moment and I'd much rather the focus stayed on Danzo for his arc.

I like that the other Kages showed up and you got to see a bit of the other countries.

I have a feeling that everything Sauske knows about summit security comes from knowledge of APEC 2007. That's why he is going to assassinate Danzo there. He will dress as the Kage of the Snow country, in a Limo, with Suigetsu and Jugo as runners.

Does anyone think that the Tsuchikage looks like an Asterix character? Also, the whole, "Beating me up will make you feel better" was silly. Naruto is not good at peace philosophy, it seems.

Oh, and the death of Tsunade's brother in the Anime recently was Narm-tastically hilarious.

SIDE NOTE: I am just wondering. Think they could have filler devoted to what happened the supporting cast between the time skip? It would be like 52!

Well he had justify his position when Asskicking Equals Authority, it also makes it easy to understand why he was an easy replacement with Kakashi. I think Kishi's planning on giving him one good fight and killing him off. He wanted it to be Kakashi, but decided the character was too popular.

Also, the reveal was basically the only reason to read this issue: it's kind of filler heavy.

To the sidenote: They did. It was called filler hell. I'd just like to see Lee in a decent fight. Seriously, where the hell was he during the Pain arc?

Ho Yay doesn't exist unless the characters are already explicitly gay. Everything else is just wishful thinking.

Why is everyone so eager for danzo to die? He's the most interesting think to happen to the manga for about 60 issues, and I like it how there's now a Hokage who isn't on friendly terms with naruto without being evil.

Check the article: Ho Yay is wishful thinking, and I wouldn't have it any other way. If it were more explicit it would be Fetish Fuel. And Sai is certainly implied to be developing romantic feelings for Naruto, athough probably not sexual in nature (wait, I forgot about his obsession with penises...).

Ho Yay can be Fetish Fuel. And for many people, myself included, even explicit homosexuality isn't Fetish Fuel.

@ Noimporta: Danzo isn't evil?

As far as we have seen, while not goody-good, all his actions have been for the benefit of the village. He has a point regarding how all the previous Hokage screwed up badly.

The popular opinion on the main forums I go to is that Danzo is Tobi. Has been for a couple of months now.

Or maybe Danzo is really Sasuke's Father. Maybe he was not killed by Itachi.
