YMMV: WAOA High School AU
  • Accidental Innuendo: Shadow is quite the master of this.
  • Anti-Climax Boss: Scorpion. The guy gives us a Badass Boast, causes the Students and Teachers tons of trouble... And dies by a simple punch to the head.
  • Memetic Molester: Voldo, naturally.
    • Dave unfortunately gets this status, despite only being a pervert and nothing more.
  • Ensemble Darkhorse: Goro.
  • God-Mode Sue: Hawke is a very light case of this. Guilty can be accused of this. Travis' Kendo skills screamed this for a while. In addition, we've got Wren's parents who have cured multiple diseases. A much lesser extent is Joshua, the Principal.
    • God!Arcie... only shows up to solve a problem, nothing more. Otherwise, she doesn't interfere with the normal school.
    • Although, this could be subverted for Wren's parents, who outright lied to thier son about thier profession, being nothing more than simple assistants with menial office work.
  • Marty Stu: Shadow and Wren, most noticeably.
  • Metagaming: Somehow Joe knows that Paper!Shadow and Shadow are the same person(which he only met both of them once each). Without asking. Oh, and he says he exactly knows they're the same person, not thinks they may be. The other problem is that he's already Breaking the Fourth Wall with his knowledge of this.
    • Shiningknight has done this quite a few times before.
  • Romantic Plot Tumor: Good luck keeping your character interesting since it de-evolved into this. You don't have a relationship? Ignored! Okay, not that bad, but it's heading there.
  • Sympathetic Sue: Wren, hoo-lordy.
  • The Scrappy: David Shine for being extremely creepy. Layla for her god complex and forcing people to pay attention to her.
  • Wangst: As usual, some of Hydronix's characters are hit with this.
    • A more prominent example is Wren, an Author Avatar(kind of) with a pretty crappy life. Albeit, he whines about it more than he should. He's slowly getting better, though.
