• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • On one episode of the podcast, Cody and Noel joke about what they would do if they were ever featured on Genius. Eight months later, the boys get the chance to go on Genius to explain their song "Broke Bitch."
  • The "soulmates" from "you." broke up not too long after the That's Cringe video on them.
  • It was eventually found out that Bethany of Girl Defined's husband is a victim of conversion therapy, meaning it makes a lot of sense why he would be completely fine with not having to kiss a woman for as long as he did. Though, it also doubles as a Harsher in Hindsight.
  • One of the jokes in "The Kombucha King" involves GT Dave inviting "two regular guys" over. Cody and Noel were later invited by GT himself to visit his home.
• He Really Can Act: Look at the comments for their music videos and you'll see the fans expressing irritation that Cody and Noel are still considering their musical career as a joke when they've been pumping out legitimately Awesome Music (that said, the subject matters of said music aren't exactly serious or necessarily highbrow). Noel's direction of said music videos in particular has been acclaimed.
• Memetic Badass: It's generally agreed that there's a reason why Jake Paul targeted Cody instead of Noel.

  • Noel's ethnicity. ^explanation Noel looking vaguely Asian and his refusal to clarify to keep the joke going has led to said ethnicity half-jokingly becoming the biggest mystery of the duo's fandom.
