- Ensemble Dark Horse: While most of the characters has their fans, Gyrocopter alone managed to become one of the most popular characters for his over-the-top insanity. His sheer popularity is likely one of the reasons why he's back in Season 4.
- Pretty much the entire Dire team in Season 3 sans Enigma and Nigel, who are major characters. Seriously, Tidehunter, Terrorblade, and Crystal Maiden all have some of the best lines in the series.
- Memetic Mutation: "You're just gonna have to accept this and move on."
- Ascended Meme: A similar line is spoken by Arc Warden in the actual game, referencing the series.
