- Accidental Innuendo: It's mentioned that "The chef got stiff" when Hibiki refutes one of his arguments.
- Angst? What Angst?: Hibiki gets over tragedy pretty quickly, considering the situation she's in.
- Canon Defilement: Well, there's giving Hinata a non-canon sister, for one. Then, there's reducing a lot of the plot down to its most basic bits (For example, she completely skims over Twogami's murder). She makes a lot of the characters stereotypes of what the fandom usually sees them as. We could go on all day. This is justified, however, seeing as the author outright stated it was a Troll Fic.
- Creator's Pet: Hibiki. This is probably intentional.
- Designated Heroine: Hibiki acts a little like an Alpha Bitch, and she's kind of unpleasant, not caring about Twogami dying. That said, she is written like she's the heroine.
- Ensemble Dark Horse: Margay and some other 'fans' find Saionji this, after calling out Hibiki on seeming to show zero sympathy from the murders that had happened the night before.
- Ho Yay: A bit between Souda and Tanaka.
- There also seems to be some between Hinata and Komaeda.
- Female example: A little between Hibiki and Sonia, if Hibiki's poetic descriptions and constantly calling Sonia 'beautiful' is anything to go by.
