• Even Better Sequel: The first game was a clever and innovative but janky Dungeon Crawler with some great ideas, and mostly made a name for itself off of its quirky charm and great presentation. The sequel ditches the less refined aspects of the game like the combat system in favor of playing up the games charm and humor and as a result is a much more engrossing experience. The story is also much better, featuring a more interesting cast of characters in an offbeat parody of The Wizard of Oz with lots of Character Development and intriguing subplots.
• Memetic Mutation: The animation of Tingle dancing after clearing a dungeon has proven to be popular with Vinesauce and his viewers.
• Woolseyism: The fan translation has a few added shout-outs to things from American pop culture, like the "father" mummy enemy in the desert being named "The Walking Dad" or the fluid-measuring Love Push gift being named "Moist Meter".
