YMMV / LEGO The Incredibles

  • Awesome: Video Game Levels:
    • "The Golden Years" acts as an Adaptation Expansion towards the beginning of the first film, with elaborate rooftop platforming and a maze full of bombs.
    • "Above Parr", the penultimate and longest level, is entirely dedicated to Elastigirl, Dash & Violet heading to Nomanisan Island to rescue Mr. Incredible, finally being able to work together and move past their differences. Along with opening with a recreation of the drop from the plane, the level concludes with a recreation of Dash & Violet running through the island.
  • Fan Nickname: LEGO Pixar, because of the additional Pixar characters to play as.
  • Just Here for Godzilla: Some players became interested in the game for the number of guest characters from other Pixar movies besides The Incredibles.
  • Moe: Gazerbeam's amnesia makes for some endearing moments, such as when he believes that a building is a tree and even apologizes to said tree for doing surgery on it, to which Bob tells him that it's not an actual tree.
  • Nightmare Fuel: WALL-E's special move has him turn his adversary into a garbage cube.
  • Salvaged Story:
    • A notable complaint about the sequel was how the DEVTECH supers barely factored into the plot, with only Voyd getting enough focus to have a notable personality. Pixar apparently took those complaints to heart, as the adaptation of the sequel has each of the supers get a massively increased role that allows them to show off much more of their characters.
    • The audio for Lego Marvel Avengers was criticized because of the voice actors not being able to voice the characters, so as a result, they used archive audio for the characters, which led to the audio being too quiet or unknowingly loud. This game hires voice actors from The Incredibles to voice the characters. As a bonus, they were able to improvise Lines and add new ones.
  • Spiritual Successor: Given the amount of playable Pixar characters outside of The Incredibles, the game may be considered a combination between LEGO Dimensions and Disney Infinity.
  • They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character:
    • Mr. Incredible's design in the game has gotten a lot of positive reception, needless to say, some were disappointed that the physical version of him has generic minifigure proportions.
    • Instead of only letting one character per franchise make a cameo, some would've preferred each movie to get one, so that Jessie could get in for Toy Story 2, Buzz for Toy Story 3, Nemo or Marlin for Finding Nemo, Mater for Cars 2, and Mike for Monsters University.
    • Screenslaver is the last character you can unlock and after that there's only one mission where they're required to be used. After achieving 100% Completion, there's not much point to play as him anymore.
  • Unexpected Character:
