This section will cover a lot of spoilers, so in order to not fill the page with spoiler tags, all spoilers will be unmarked. You Have Been Warned

  • Heartwarming Moments:
    • The entire series after the Downer Beginning, really. Adeleine becomes an adoptive mother to a cute group of Kirbies and they grew a great bond between each other, with Ado loving all of her kids equally despite their different personalities and the group loving her back. As the description of the first episode says, the Company only wants to accompany their mother around and try to make her happy, while she wants her children to grow healthy.
    • In Episode 1, the Company makes their mother a drawing that has the phrases "Mommy loves us" and "We love mommy", to Adeleine's tenderness. What's more is that, even if it doesn't meet the standards of a masterpiece, she still loves it, as she cares more about her children's love than an artist's strictness. This makes a Call-Back of sorts in Episode 8 during the Reincarnation prequels, where the Kirbies make individual drawings of their mother and show them to her, to her endearment.
    • In Episode 2, while the rest of the group imagines her mother in different situations and outfits by the shapes of clouds, the General sees a cloud in a shape of an umbrella, and remembers the time when she met him and the crew on a rainy night, took them home and takes care of them ever since.
    • There's a something strangely wholesome about the General laughing at OddOne's drawing a you-know-what in Episode 3 after the latter shows him for the funsies. Even if it is Vulgar Humor, it shows that the General's responsibility as a leader and him following her mother's orders doesn't private him from having just as much fun with childish things as the others have.
    • Also from Episode 3, when the others start painting the mug that Adeleine asks them to paint in canvasses, GlumOne is insecure about doing it and shyly watches the others' works, but flees as soon as they see him. Sad, the poor thing just gives up as he thinks he can't commit her mother's requisition, to Ado's pity. To make him feel better, she pets him in the head with her finger as she sings him her lullaby. GlumOne then enlivens and goes to her mother's cheek to give her a kiss, to her endearment, and gets determination to do what she asked.
    • While Episode 4 is purely comedic, the fact that Adeleine orders the "Bottomless Pit" on Kawasaki's restaurant despite of her not normally being a Big Eater just to give her children enough food to eat is also a bit heartwarming.
    • In Episode 5, after Adeleine hits a tree and bleeds from her nose while chasing a family of Gaw Gaws in a blind rage after one of them destroys her paiting, the outro card shows the group attending her and treating her wounds.
    • The end of Episode 7 is probably one of the most heartwarming moments after GlumOne getting petted by his mother in Episode 3. After encountering the enormous Adeleine for the first time, the General's terrified of her and tries not to get noticed, though he fails to do so because of some loud signals coming from him, apparently when he gets nervous. After attempting to "scare" her with his unconverted red stick and once again failling, the poor thing starts crying in terror while covering his eyes, expecting the worse. Adeleine looks at him with pity and pets him with her finger while humming to him the same lullaby from Episode 3. This turns out to heal his wounds, and also makes him adore her after she gives him a kiss from afar. He unfortunately passes out like the other Kirbies, but Ado manages to save them from the rain and accommodates them on her coat, while still humming her lullaby and watching them for safety. This probably gets even better when you remember this is the more grumpier Adeleine from the Reincarnation arc, so her doing this is actually a kinder moment from her part.
  • Jerkass Woobie:
    • King Dedede is much more grumpier here than in his home series, being a Bad Boss and more gruff and insensitive to others save for Adeleine. The sad truth is that this is because he doesn't feel like treating others with compassion since the people of Dream Land don't give him some sort of redemption or kindness after he got scapegoated by the media due to his food-thievery. He also tries to not influence Ado into being just like him, though this doesn't work.
    • Adeleine used to be a good kid, but became a bad-tempered loner after living with Dedede and suffering the misfortunes he carried with her. She looks ugly at others and is now a lonely alcoholic who only lives from her works of art. Luckily for her, his bad life turned around as she meets the Company and takes a level in kindness in the process.
  • Nightmare Fuel:
    • Although it may not appear like it at first, the premise itself it's actually pretty dark even for a Kirby-inspired series. Both the comics 5-12 and the shorts' Reincarnation arc confirms that the series takes place in an Alternate Universe where Kirby never existed at all, resulting in a darker world where many of the Popstar inhabitants are a lot unhappier, the sky is darker even in daytime, and even the flora appears to be in a much less healthy state, as revealed by the dead trees in the background of Episode 7. King Dedede became so much grumpier and a Bad Boss to his servants due to his people not respecting him as a king anymore, as he got scapegoated by the media because of his food-stealing in Dream Land (either once or twice) and was never given a chance of redemption -contrasting with the main series where he was redeemed because of the events with Kirby. And if that wasn't enough, Adeleine was living with him in this universe as her little sister figure, and he tried his best to not influence her with his bad behaviour, but it didn't work!! Now Adeleine is a depressed young adult who lives as a lone wolf because she can't and doesn't want to socialize with anyone, only using her painting skills and alcohol to deal with her sad life (which she hasn't completely abandoned even after growing thanks to the Company), and would have continued this path if the Company didn't appear in her life.
    • As seen in Episode 5, even after mellowing down considerably, Adeleine still has a horrible temper when her paintings are damaged which makes her take her rage out on the offending party—even if they happened to be a family of rather small (admittedly vicious) Gaw Gaw still young enough to be fed by their mother as well as the mother herself—and will run after said offenders at full tilt in a blind rage swinging her brush like a madwoman; if the Kirbies thought that she was terrifying as she stood tall during her earlier change-of-heart and even during her cutesy moments, imagine how scared they (and the Gaw Gaws) must have felt seeing a pissed-off Adeleine, a reminder that she is ultimately a freakishly strong giant to such small creatutes.
      • Episode 10 finally let Adeleine have her fight scene with a Gao Gao, and it shows in short order how little the Gao Gao could do anything to so much as scratch her—let alone faze her. She's clearly not taking the fight too seriously, but in the interim of her having no super powers before she met The Company, the ostensibly human artist has somehow picked up the ability to use a breath weapon, and her kickboxing has not dulled (hell, she headbutt rocks with no sign of damage unlike when she ran into a tree five episodes earlier). The scariest is not her physical brawn, though—it's her art. With it, she can do things like supercharge it with electricity, spray it about and have ghoulish red-eyed clones of her kid self reach up from the paint splotches to grab at anything nearby with almost pained expressions, or turn those paint splotches into a cage of spikes jutting up from the paint to entrap Adeleine's hapless foe. What was once a cantankerous Gao Gao was reduced into a panicking mess by the end of the fight with the dangerously creative Adeleine.
  • Squick: For those squeamish of blood, this sort of reaction is expected with the first five episodes involving shots of someone bleeding more than usualnote , though other squeamish moments include the pizza slice Adeleine ate without noticing the cockroach that crawled onto it (complete with a very nauseating crunching sound) and the rather unflattering facial expressions she'd make before becoming the loving lady she is now, both of which had happened during the Reincarnation Arc.
  • Tear Jerker: Near the end of Episode 7, we see all of the Kirbies fainted after the battle against BitterOne on a rainy night, all except for the General, who's exhausted but still trying to protect his crew from would-be predators that could take advantage of their weakened state. Suddenly, he hears giant footsteps and sees an enormous Adeleine approaching and stopping for a moment, not realizing about him or the crew below her. The General is so panicked by the situation, but he can't manage to run away because of his state, and even if he could, he doesn't want to leave his brothers to die to this massive predator, so the first thing he does is close his eyes and stay still so she doesn't notice him. Unfortunately, he's unconsciously sending the same loud distress signals that Ado was hearing at her home, so she ends up detecting him. When the General opens one of his eyes, he sees that same giantess staring right back at him, so he screams in horror and Ado ultimately notices him. He futilely tries the same method one more time, even more terrified, only for the same signal to appear and Ado getting even closer to see him better, creating a shock on the earth that makes him jump. The last thing the General tries to do is just shaking his unconverted stick, in an attempt "scare" the giant, but she just snorts, unimpressed by his intimidation tactic. We then finally see the General, a Kirby, one of the cutest characters in video games, broken and crying in fear while covering his eyes, expecting the worse. The fact that this whole thing is happening to a child, an exhausted child, for that matter, who's all alone, can't run and is experiencing Primal Fear from a grave danger right in front of him and crying, is just heartshattering.
  • What Do You Mean, It's Not for Kids?: Don't be fooled by the thumbnails and the fact that it's based on Kirby (although the original does have its fair share of shocking moments despite the fact that it's E for Everyone). This series shows blood, swears, use of alcohol, changes of mood between idealism and cynicism, and it's not afraid to use Vulgar Humor, either (like OddOne drawing a Big Fancy Wang).
