• Funny Moments: The first page of the entire comic being a nod to the 'Sad Keanu' meme.
  • In a meta sense, the fact that Berzerker is an immortal warrior that looks like Keanu Reeves certainly brings to mind the jokes made about Keanu himself being immortal.
  • In issue 7, Berzerker's reaction to being given the rotting remains of a hand he lost (and regrew) in the Battle of Babylonia.
    Berzerker: This…is my hand?
    Caldwell: What's left of it. Over the years, it's been eaten, smoked, boiled, sex-magicked, and injected…So there isn't much left.
    Berzerker: Fucking cults. Always been a pain in my ass.
• Nightmare Fuel: Berzerker himself. An immortal warrior that cannot be killed and needs to let out his Berserker Rage in order to feel free. And when he does go berserk, it usually involves ripping his enemies to pieces in bloody fashion.
  • Even though he will always get better, some of the injuries Berzerker suffers aren't pleasant to look at. For example, a flashback in issue 3 had half of his face turned into a bloody pulp after a massacre.
• Stoic Woobie: Berzerker. He doesn't like that he was born to be a weapon, has long since outlived his tribe and many romantic partners throughout the ages, and has lived through some of the worst periods in human history. And yet, unless he's going berserk, he always keeps a calm attitude.
• Tear Jerker: The conversation between Berzerker and his mother in issue 3:
  Berzerker: They call me an 'unute'. Is that what I am? Just a tool? A weapon? Am I just a dog of war?
  Berzerker's mother: You are a gift. I prayed to the gods and they gave me you.
  Berzerker: What did you pray for, mother? Did you pray for a son? Or did you pray for unute?
