YMMV / Action Doom 2: Urban Brawl

• Alternate Character Interpretation: Is the hero an Action Dad trying to rescue his kidnapped daughter from a Corrupt Corporate Executive? Or a violent drunk with PTSD who is trying to tear away a little girl from someone who's been much more of a father to her than himself? The different endings seem to answer the question differently; noteworthy is that the worst ending involves the hero going through essentially both routes, thus murdering much more people in his quest, so his daughter shooting him may well could be less the Big Bad tricking her and more her simply being terrified at the sight of a violent psychopath.
• Narm: The wolves in the spooky house level. While the howl they make might be frightening, they aren't very intimidating appearance-wise thanks to the cartoony art style, much less when you actually hit them and the game shows their names are "Link" and "Wolfy".
• Suspiciously Similar Song: "Bar Fight" theme is quite similar to I'm So Excited by The Pointer Sisters.
• Values Dissonance: The first level's bosses are Captain Ersatzes of the Village People, complete with taking place in a gay bar. As Word of God said, they were replaced with new ones in the Reloaded version because these stereotypes about gay people are dated and offensive nowadays.
