STORYBOTS, TA-DA!
StoryBots Super Songs is a 2016 spin-off show based off the Netflix-original series Ask the StoryBots.

StoryBots Super Songs centers on the StoryBots, who are curious little creatures who live in the world beneath our screens. However, while its predecessor Ask the StoryBots follows Beep, Bing, Bang, Boop and Bo as they answer a child's single question (like “why is the sky blue?”), the music-centric Super Songs has the characters exploring broader subject areas.

“From the day Ask the StoryBots launched back in August, we’ve been inundated with requests from kids, parents and teachers all over the world for more episodes,” said show co-creator Gregg Spiridellis. “We’re happy to be able to answer that call in a fun, new way with StoryBots Super Songs.”

“StoryBots caught fire online because of our catchy, short-form music videos on subjects like dinosaurs, shapes, colors, the alphabet and more,” said Evan Spiridellis, show co-creator. “This new format lets us tap into that heritage by mixing our trademark tunes with animated and live-action vignettes featuring our lead characters interacting with real kids.”

Here, maybe some examples for StoryBots Super Songs will help, dude:

  • Ambiguous Robots: Likely just used for simple visual but they're shown to have brains and lungs in the "Body Parts" episode songs.
  • Episode Title Card: After the theme song ends, each episode will have a title card that shows up with the name of the episode as one of the main Storybots pops out from under the screen and says it out loud.
  • Explosive Results: In the “Vehicles” episode, the main 5 are asking the kids on the monitors how to make a car. After a long montage of getting the materials and building the faulty-looking vehicle, Bang starts it up which makes a big explosion that leaves him and the others ashy from the impact.
Bing: Huh. Maybe we missed a part.
  • Face Palm: Beep does this almost all the time, especially when her other team members are doing or saying something completely stupid.
    • She did it in the “Outer Space” episode when Bing was trying to find the planet Earth through a telescope.
    • Boop did this at the end of the “Shapes” episode when the rest of Team 341-B kept repeating the word 'rhombus' because of how fun it sounds.
  • The Glomp: At the end of the "Professions" episode, after Beep says her dream job is to answer kids' questions with the others, Bo pulls them all into one tight hug.
Bing: You can let go now, Bo.
  • Has Two Thumbs and...: In the “Colors” episode, Beep asks the kids on the monitors what they think of when they think of the color blue. After a long montage of the kids (and even a few of the StoryBots) replying with "the sky", Beep gets annoyed and says she'll get upset if she hears the phrase one more time. Bang rolls in and asks "What has two thumbs and is blue all over? This guy." while pointing to himself. Beep just looks at him in annoyance and goes offscreen to lie down.
  • Idiosyncratic Episode Naming: Each episode has a single word title related to its theme like Animals or Outer Space.
  • Inherently Funny Words: In the “Shapes” episode, Bang repeatedly says the word 'rhombus' to the kids because he finds it fun to say. Later on, the other StoryBots follow suit.
  • I Just Like Saying the Word:
Beep: Uhm.. Bang? Do you even know what a rhombus is?
Bang: No idea, dude, but it's a cool sounding word.
  • Inside a Computer System: The setting that each episode takes place is inside of a computer since most StoryBots live inside of common high-tech devices, like phones, tablets, laptops, computers, and possibly more.
  • Ridiculously Fast Construction: In the "Professions" episode, Bo manages to build a really big house out of playing blocks in a matter of seconds. It's also fully furnished and has a swimming pool.
  • Spin-Off: This show is a spin-off of Ask the StoryBots and both shows have a very vast premise from eachother. Ask the StoryBots is about answering kids questions by going into the real world risking their lives to find an answer to the query in question while Super Songs is mainly about learning a specific topic within each episode with various segments and songs.
  • Toilet Humour: In the "Body Parts" episode, Bo asks the kids what happens to food when you eat it. While the kids are answering, Bing prompts them further asking what happens next, until they eventually mention that food turns into poop that he starts laughing. Then this happens:
Hap: NOW WHAT'S GOING ON HERE? YOU KNOW YOU CAN'T SAY "POOP" ON A KIDS SHOW!
Beep: It’s okay, Hap. While "poop" is a funny word, it’s just what happens to food after it’s processed in your stomach.
  • Train Song: Both the classic “I’ve Been Working on the Railroad” and a new song titled “Riding on a Train”, which appears in the “Vehicles” episode, are labeled as songs directed towards trains. The newer song explains the various types of trains and people that work on a train.
