A comedy action Webcomic written by Kumtata and illustrated by Hyun hoo Joo.

Jaeho is a man built like a fighter with a fearsome scowl. His father pushes for him to become an MMA fighter, but Jaeho dreams of opening a flower shop. So he decides to play the virtual reality game, "New World", to escape his father's ambitions and follow his dreams. Even if his scary looks don't quite match up to his flowery passion.

It can be read here.

The webcomic provides examples of:

  • Big Bad Ensemble: Invoked, anyone closely associated with Jaeho or his flower shop is often lumped together with him as one of these by other players as rumors begin to spread about him.
  • Can't Argue with Elves: The comic makes it clear that elves think little of humans and the other races of New World. Players who start off in the area known as luxury forest are often ignored if not outright shunned by them. They open up to Jaeho because of his interest in nature And later because of his title as the Grower of Life but otherwise are seen more as an obstacle to other players if not some of the scariest NPCs in the game.
    • Once the desert village is established with the help of an elven exclave, one of the players develops a system for other players to "gain favor" with the elves, which consists in therapy to withstand the constant rejection and how to "Yes-Man" successfully enough for an elf to give them the time of day.
  • Crosses the Line Twice: Beating a bear to death with one's bare hands and stabbing people to death with a trowel are horrifically gruesome ways to play a fantasy RPG. Jaeho does this and more which makes some fights hilarious in how absolutely ridiculous it is. Especially in a fantasy world where you can simply use swords and magic instead.
  • Cyberspace: Most of the comic takes place in a Virtual Reality MMO game known as "New World" It's an entirely immersive fantasy world complete with kingdoms and fantasy creatures. Players use gaming capsules to enter the world.
  • Elemental Rock-Paper-Scissors: Jaeho's holy, and life centered attacks deal extra damage to the undead and demonic entities of "New World"
  • Elves Versus Dwarves: Though the Elves have a bigger beef with the Demons of New World. They still have no love for Dwarves and Dwarves don't have much good to say about Elves either.
  • Enchanted Forest: New World features a few different types of Enchanted Forests that Jaeho travels to but the area known as Luxury Forest is the first and most straight forward example. Being home of the elves as well as other dangerous and high level monsters.
  • Fantasy-Forbidding Father: A low key example, Jaeho's dad wants him to be an MMA fighter, forbidding his non-fighting related interests. He manages to trick his father into getting the VR capsules to play in New World with the argument he can use it to train in fighting.
  • Gentle Giant: Basically the focus of the comic. Most players and even NPCs assume he's a monster when they first lay eyes on him but Jaeho is a sweet guy that mostly cares about opening his flower shop. People misunderstanding this based on his appearance drives a lot of the plot and humor.
  • Good Smells Good: Due to all his time spent studying plants and flowers, Jaeho now has a pleasant floral smell around him. The Elve's Super-Senses detect this and it helps him slowly win their support, as he is so far the only human who doesn't, well, stink.
  • Green Thumb: The result of Jaeho leveling up his plant studying and tending Skills are abilities to help them grow.
  • Leaning on the Fourth Wall: There are multiple references to Jaeho's insane luck making him seem like a Webtoons Protagonist... wait.
  • Logical Weakness: An interesting case, Elves get sick while out on the ocean. Not because of motion sickness but because they aren't used to the fishy smell and their noses are so sensitive that they can't even stand it without puking.
  • Mama Bear: Jaeho's mom has a temper, and both he and his dad fear her. When the bill for the VR capsules comes in, she starts to take it out on his dad, who turns to Jaeho for support— only for him to slide out of frame and close the door to his room, with a caption confirming he does not regret the betrayal.
  • Our Elves Are Different: Though they seem like your typical fantasy elves at first. They are quick to violence and anger to the point that they often need to be held back and are easily offended.
    • To put this in perspective. A normal Elf might be seen as noble and elegant in battle. These elves are better compared to Kindergarteners who are easily excited and can follow commands but often forget about the rules.
  • Politically Incorrect Villain: The Grizzly Bears are a guild of players stated in universe to be a group of extreme racists who often end up at odds with Althea. Acting as reoccurring villains throughout the comic. Especially after Althea is named the first player king by accident. Right before their leader was named king. Making him the second player king instead.
  • Talking to Plants: Jaeho does this a lot, and it seems to help leveling up his game skills regarding studying plants.
