Ivorycellonote  is a YouTuber known primarily for her "inescapable prison" escapes in Minecraft. After Pandora's Vault on the Dream SMP drew attention for its claims of being an inescapable prison and the impressive feat of being built entirely in survival, many other creators tried to improve on it, as well as escape both the improved prisons and recreations of Pandora's Vault. Ivory's older videos under the name "Mythrodak" feature her escaping these prisons, often with some limitations such as not dying or not smuggling in items, but always alone.note  She sometimes does other challenge videos, such as killing 100 zombies with her (Minecraft) fist, or practicing PVP.

On April 20, 2022, Ivory came out as a transgender woman, and said that she would no longer be making Minecraft prison escape videos. Since then, she participates in some roleplay-focused SMPs, such as Kaboodle SMP.

Ivory's channel can be found here. She also streams on Twitch and makes music.

Ivory's videos contain examples of:

  • The Alcatraz: Every single place Ivory has been imprisoned in has been labelled inescapable, and yet.
  • And Your Little Dog, Too!: Ray threatening Mush's animals to get them to help trap Ivory, and then threatening Mush themself to get Ivory to give up without a fight.
  • Berserk Button: Played for Laughs, but Ivory with elder guardians.
Ivory: And don't even get me started on the elder guardians!
On-screen text: I got started on the elder guardians.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Ivory has her bouts of this, especially post "Gaia's Vault".
Ivory: Once we're inside we get our first mining fatigue effect, but I managed to obtain this legendary item called a bucket of milk.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: The videos before the prison escape series are pretty rough around the edges, especially in terms of video and audio quality. The ending of "Gaia's Vault" puts Ivory and Plumpkin's date in a very strange light...
  • Eyepatch After Time Skip: Ray gains a scar over his eye in the year or so between Ivory's destruction of Ares' Vault and his reappearance after they escape the abyss.
  • Face-Revealing Turn: After Ivory's tearing of the abyss in "Escaping Minecraft's Abyss", the lights flicker and the statue slowly turns to face the guards before shattering the lights and making their escape.
  • False Camera Effects: The Replay mod and shaders are used to mimic Camera Tricks and more "typical" mediums despite being recorded in Minecraft, such as a 45 FOV on the Replay recording to mimic a 45mm camera lens.
  • Forgotten Fallen Friend: Chase, by virtue of first appearing and then dying in "Gladiator Pit".
  • Gladiator Games: The Gladiator Pit, right down to the name. One on one battles to the death (or to the spectators' satisfaction) else face a horde of ravagers, all run by upperclass nobility.
  • I Didn't Mean to Kill Him: Ivory after killing Chase for good, to Sven's despair.
  • Inner Monologue: Pretty much every video, although some are more narration than monologue.
Ivory: This isn't good. What am I supposed to do?
    Guard: Well ideally, kill them.
Ivory: (internally) Shoot, I said that out loud. I really need to focus.
  • I Shall Taunt You: Ivory goads Ray into a duel in order to get armor and kill the guards escorting them.
  • I Work Alone: A key tenet of all of Ivory's escapes. She comments on this before entering Gaia's Vault, that all the other escapists have turned either to escapes with multiple people or even to working on new prisons.
  • Lured into a Trap: Unwittingly on the part of Mush, who let Ivory back into their house after being threatened by Ray and co and being forced to help trap Ivory.
  • Ominous Visual Glitch: Representative of Ivory's escape from the abyss, many, many visual and audio glitches were used.
  • The Order: The Creed, possibly. Ivory was working with them prior to being captured by the Gladiator Pit, and Sven mentions headmasters which implies some form of structure within the group.
  • Parrot Pet Position: Due to limitations of Minecraft, whenever Ivory carries Shiratori, it's on her shoulder.
  • Pumpkin Person: Plumpkin, who is a pumpkin on top of some acacia wood with fence posts for arms.
  • Reports of My Death Were Greatly Exaggerated: After not seeing each other for two years, Mush tells Ivory they thought she was dead.
  • Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Ivory, declaring that she's going to kill absolutely everyone after Shiratori is killed.
  • Self-Fulfilling Prophecy: Plumpkin explains to Ivory that they are being imprisoned and that Shiratori was killed because otherwise the prophecy will come true. However, only after this is explained does Ivory truly commit to their murderous rampage.
  • Shout-Out:
    • The name of Ivory's parrot is Shiratori, after a Japanese man of the same name who was known for breaking out of 4 different prisons.
    • Almost all of the prisons are named after Greek gods and/or have 'vault' in the name, to the point where it's notable when that's defied.
Ivory: [...] the Obelisk. I checked it out, and the first thing I thought was "Yes! Finally a prison that doesn't have 'vault' in the name!"
  • So Much for Stealth: Ivory hears a twig snap and tells Mush to run right before being captured and sent to the Gladiator Pit.
  • The Speechless: Chase, as Sven explains during their and Ivory's first meeting in "Gladiator Pit".
  • A Storm Is Coming: Invoked by Ivory in "Gladiator Pit", justified by the fact that they need the rain to escape via riptide tridents.
  • Super Not-Drowning Skills:
    • Many of the prisons after Pandora's Vault have underwater cells — Poseidon's Vault is even themed around it! — which also contain a conduit to avoid the prisoner drowning themself to escape. Even in the prisons where the whole cell isn't waterlogged, they often have one block of water to avoid teleportation by chorus fruit and to slow down walking and mining.
    • In "The Beginning", Ivory is walking and talking just fine, despite being on the bottom of the ocean.
  • Tailor-Made Prison: While not the case OOC, in-character all the prisons are made to trap Ivory. Sven tells Ivory in "The Abyss" that all the prison-builders are putting their lives on the line just to attempt to stop her.
  • Taken for Granite: In the 11 months Ivory spends in the abyss, her physical body almost entirely turns to stone.
  • Two Scenes, One Dialogue: A very satisfying example in "Gaia's Vault":
Ivory: But this prison... it's amazing. The epitome of–
Sven: Perfection. That's what we have created in this new prison.
  • Video-Game Lives: Everyone has 100 lives, and when you lose them all you get Killed Off for Real.
  • Villain Protagonist: Ivory may be the main character, but when the first video on her channel starts with a declaration of intention to mass-murder, she lands pretty far from where the good guys sit.
  • Wardens Are Evil: Most of the wardens are varying levels of cruel to Ivory, with MiningBlob saying that she can forget about vistors or Ray gloating about easily capturing her. Sven sometimes subverts this, complaining that Gaia's Vault sacrifices their morality, but is assured by Plumpkin that they're in the right. Even Pandora's Vault, now small fry compared to the newer behemoths of prisons, has rigourous kill checks.
Ivory: And once the guards have thoroughly killed me a hundred times, chunkbanned me, guilt tripped me, and spat in my cereal...
  • Waterlogged Warzone: Sven and Ivory's fight in the Gaia's Vault guard room.
  • We Do Not Know Each Other: Mush denies knowing Ivory when Ray asks, only giving up info about her when Ray threatens to kill them and their animals.
  • We Used to Be Friends: Ivory and Sven became friends in the Gladiator Pit, then fell out after Ivory killed Chase.
  • Whole Episode Flashback: "Gladiator Pit" and "1.8 Hitman vs. 1.17 Pro" both occur before Ivory is imprisoned for the first time, with some flashes to the present where she's trapped in the abyss. In particular, "Gladiator Pit" shows Sven and Ivory's first meeting.
Ivory: Getting captured, I know, I'm really stupid. But remember, this is the first time it's happened to me.
