An abridged series of the hentai Bible Black done by Myster Magenta. Notably more tame than the original series, it ran from 2018 to 2022, running for 11 episodes.

Bible Black Abridged contains the following tropes:

  • Affably Evil: Poonzuzu is surprisingly friendly for a perverted sex demon.
  • The Atoner: Takashiro is more explicitly this in the second season, insisting on getting involved in part to atone for her actions.
  • Chew Toy: Shiraki
  • Cry for the Devil: During the season 1 finale Kitami rants about how unfair it was that her life was ruined by the Rose Cross's actions; unlike many other scenes it's played completely straight, and even Minase feels sorry for her.
  • Earn Your Happy Ending: The half of Kitami that was sealed in hell for 17 years and escaped is ultimately stated to have lived a happy life after the series ended, going to school and marrying a man who loved her. It's even confirmed that this was intentional, since Myster Magenta felt that she deserved a happy ending after all the suffering she endured.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Poonzuzu might cheerfully engage in tentacle rape, but he draws the line at incest and animal cruelty. Minase also points out that Takashiro is a horrible person for what she's done.
  • Freudian Excuse: Kitami was an innocent girl before Karen chose her as the club's human sacrifice out of spite. She also learned that the puppy she loved was used as a sacrifice, AND gets brutally gang raped by Karen's thugs. Minase flat out says that he'd be tempted to let her plans succeed if they didn't involve Imari
  • Hate Sink: Unlike Takashiro (who genuinely regrets what she's done and is trying to atone) and Kitami (who has a truly heartbreaking Freudian Excuse for her actions) there is NOTHING sympathetic about Karen.
  • Karma Houdini Warranty: The thugs who rape Kitami are stated to have died in the challenger explosion of 1986. Apparently they were full time astronauts, part time rapists.
  • Kick the Dog: Takashiro murders Kitami's puppy as part of a ritual. Notable in that Poonzuzu (a demon who cheerfully rapes people) is disgusted by this
  • Predecessor Villain: Takashiro's an odd case in that she's had a Heel–Face Turn by the time the series began, but it is also made clear that EVERYTHING in the series is ultimately her fault.
  • Rich Bitch: Karen.
  • Throw the Dog a Bone: The half of Kitami's soul that was banished to hell when she made the deal in 1984 gets the chance to live again, and is stated to have had a happy life. The narration specifically states that there's no punchline simply because she deserves it after everything she went through.
  • Tragic Villain: Both halves of Kitami qualify, having only become evil due to the absolute hell Kitami went through back in 1984.
