Angry Birds Craptastic Adventures is a parody series of Angry Birds that was created by Xplodin Film (formerly jsullivan1998) for YouTube. It features the same general concept, but with exaggerated characteristics, adult jokes and frequent cursing. It was made with Angry Birds themed plush toys.

This series contains the following tropes:

  • Advertised Extra: Despite being prominently featured in the show's intro, Yellow Bird had minimal focus in the series. This was likely due to his one-note personality.
  • Amnesia Episode: "Amnesiac Pig".
  • And the Adventure Continues: The Studder Show and the XF Films serve as follow-ups to this series.
  • Annoying Younger Sibling: Blue Bird is treated as one of these.
  • Big Bad Ensemble: King Pig was the central antagonist of the original series, but this trope came into play when Grover, who primarily operates independently from King Pig, was introduced later on.
  • Big Damn Movie: The Angry Birds Craptastic Movie, which sees Sharkbutt turning against the birds and uniting a large army to take them down once and for all.
  • Big Eater: Giant Red Bird, if "Giant Red Bird Loses Weight" is any indication.
  • Bilingual Bonus: Chef Cochon's name translates to "Chef Pig" in French.
  • Birthday Episode: "King Pig's Birthday".
  • Borrowed Catchphrase: At the end of "What Happens At Night?", Red Bird uses Green Bird's catchphrase after punishing the latter for his actions by shutting a window onto his beak.
    Red Bird: Stupid d*ck.
    Green Bird: That's my line.
  • Breakout Villain: Grover makes a brief appearance in "The Final Chapter" as one of King Pig's soldiers, but he would later become the main antagonist of the series.
  • Butt-Monkey: Nearly every character in the show counts, but Red Bird certainly takes the cake.
  • The Cameo:
    • Paz the Penguin from TLC's Ready, Set, Learn! block appears in the series as a recurring character.
    • SpongeBob appears in "King Pig's Birthday" as a "frozen sponge cake".
    • Slenderman appears in "Studder's Game Show" and his namesake episode.
    • Om Nom from Cut the Rope also appears in a few episodes.
  • Characterization Marches On:
    • Studder started out as an immature and incompetent character who would frequently break down into tears after the slightest insult. Later episodes portray Studder as a more serious and collected character.
    • Originally, Yellow Bird's only defining characteristic was his love for Japanese food. In The Studder Show and the XF Films, Yellow Bird becomes an Only Sane Man alongside Red Bird.
  • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: "The Final Chapter" sees the introduction of the Birds' Hatchlings. They only appear in 2 episodes of The Studder Show and are completely absent in the XF Films.
  • Commuting on a Bus: Ice Bird only made sporadic appearances after the Birds in Space miniseries, although he did return in "The Final Chapter".
  • Cool Helmet: Studder used to wear a construction worker's helmet in all of his appearances. However, the helmet broke when Studder fell out of a tree in "The Final Chapter", and it was never replaced.
  • Cousin Oliver: Orange Bird.
  • A Day in the Limelight: Sharkbutt in "Sharkbutt's Girlfriend", Blue Bird in "The Scary Story" and Ice Bird in "Ice Bird's Nightmare".
  • Early-Bird Cameo: Studder appears during a flashback sequence in "Babysitter", although he wouldn't be officially introduced until the next episode, "New Assistant".
  • Face–Heel Turn: Sharkbutt underwent this in the movie after the Birds were mean to him. However, he went back to his old ways in "The Final Chapter".
  • Fat Idiot: Giant Red Bird.
  • Funny Background Event: In "King Pig's New Chef", Sharkbutt and Paz can be seen doing "it" in the background at one point.
  • Fluffy the Terrible:
    • The main antagonist of "The Final Chapter" is a Goomba.
    • And if that wasn't enough, the main antagonist of The Studder Show and the XF Films is Grover.
  • Grand Finale: "The Final Chapter".
  • G-Rated Drug: In "King Pig's Day Off", Sprite is depicted as an alcoholic drink.
  • Heel–Face Turn: King Pig forms a truce with the birds in "The Final Chapter". However, he's back to his old ways from The Studder Show onwards.
  • Holiday Episode: The series has several of these under its belt, including two Christmas specials and a Halloween special.
  • Iconic Sequel Character:
    • Grover wasn't introduced until "The Final Chapter", but he quickly became one of the series' most popular characters.
    • Crocbutt and Bearbutt weren't introduced until the XF Films, but they're both quite popular among fans as well.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Green Bird.
  • Last Episode, New Character: Goomba's only appearance is in "The Final Chapter", where he serves as the main antagonist.
  • Leitmotif: Chef Cochon is associated with French accordion music, which often plays in scenes where he is shown cooking something.
  • Lethal Chef: Many of Chef Cochon's dishes turn into literal crap, especially in the XF Films.
  • Only Sane Man: Red Bird frequently ends up as the victim of this, along with Yellow Bird in later years.
  • Or Was It a Dream?: In "Ice Bird's Nightmare", Ice Bird has a nightmare where he's killed and turned into a milkshake by Chef Cochon. After waking up, he turns on the TV, where a news report talking about how a man died from drinking the milkshake is playing.
  • Potty Emergency: White Bird's defining characteristic is his never-ending need to take craps.
  • Put on a Bus:
    • Many of the recurring pig characters besides King Pig and Chef Cochon were absent in the show's later episodes, although some of them (The Pig With a Lisp and Poopy McFarty Pants, to name a few) returned in "The Final Chapter".
    • This also happens to Sharkbutt midway through the series, but given how he was arrested at the end of the movie, this is probably justified.
  • Remember the New Guy?: Out of all the main characters introduced to the series later in its run, Chef Cochon was the only one who didn't receive an introductory episode.
  • Second Episode Introduction: Studder doesn't officially debut until the series' second episode, "New Assistant".
  • Series Fauxnale: "Sharkbutt Strikes Back" was produced with the intention of being the final episode of the series, only for a proper conclusion, "The Final Chapter", to be produced 3 years later.
  • Shout-Out:
    • In "Amnesiac Pig", the Birds watch Jurassic Park.
    • Black Bird is shown playing Duck Hunt in at least 2 episodes.
  • Sick Episode: "Red Bird's Illness".
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: Green Bird. Green Bird. Green Bird.
  • Speech Impediment: The Pig With a Lisp.
  • Standalone Episode: "The King Pig's Egg-cellent Video" and "Pig Insurance".
  • Tempting Fate: In "Tribute to The Big Setup", Giant Red Bird is nervous about any potential dangers he and Green Bird may face in the woods. Green Bird angrily retorts that it's "not like some maniac in a hooded mask is gonna come out and try to strangle (them)". Take a wild guess as to what happens in the very next scene.
  • Trademark Favorite Food:
    • Studder is well known for his love of onions.
    • Yellow Bird's defining characteristic in the original series was his love for Japanese food.
  • Trapped in the Past: This happens to King Pig, Chef Cochon and a generic pig at the end of "Time Travel Trouble".
  • Villain Episode: Several.
  • Voodoo Doll: Several are featured in the appropriately titled "Voo-Doo Dolls".
  • Welcome Episode: "Meet the Mighty Eagle", "Meet the Orange Bird" and "Meet the Pink Bird".
  • Wild Teen Party: The pigs throw one of these in "King Pig's Day Off".
