A parody animation of, you guessed it, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, done in collaboration by Evil Doc and Roger van der Weide (of Sonic In X Minutes and International Moron Patrol fame).
Three episodes were produced, all of which were released between 2008 and 2011; a combined version in high-definition was uploaded in 2020
by Roger.
Sonic Dark Chronicles contains examples of...
- Animesque: The prologue and epilogue are drawn in a way far more akin to Sonic X.

Anti-Climax Boss: Parodied, Super Sonic just flies into Ix and he dies. - Art Shift: Part 3 notably ditches the hand-drawn background in favor of Roger's more signature style; not to mention, one of the scenes is animated in 3D.
- Big, Stupid Doodoo-Head: Shadow calls Sonic both "poopyhead" and "a big smelly pants".
- Bloodier and Gorier: Part 3, in which Tails and Ix can be seen bleeding.
- Brown Note: Eggman's dancing and music from Sonic Underground both cause robots to explode.
- The Cameo: Sonia, Manik, Iron Man, Samus and Rush all make minor appearances.
- Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: Lampshaded; Big vanishes in front of the camera, and a missing poster for him can be seen later.
- Downer Ending: As with the original game, Eggman takes over the world.
- Faux Horrific: Angel Island crashing into the ocean is this for Knuckles.
- Flashback: Parodied; Sonic attempts to flashback into memories of Blue Bridge Zone, only for there to be a tumbleweed in a white void.
- Girlfriend in Canada: Subverted and Parodied; in the end, it's revealed Dexter (who looks like Amy with some glasses and a mustache) really does exist.
- Take That!: Pretty much the entire series deconstructs Chronicles for its story and gameplay.
- The machine Tails uses to check for enemy weaknesses is "Tails Vision 0.5 Vista".
