Web Animation / AI Generated Object Show

Go To

AI Generated Object Show is a web-animated Object Show created by Savage Brick Gaming on 8th April 2023. As the title implies, the show uses A.I.-Generated Artwork, with the scripts being written by NovelAI and some of the art being generated by DALL-E 2.

While they were minding their own business, seven objects were abducted by a UFO out of nowhere. And like so many shows before, they are forced to participate in a competition by a stick figure named Mr. Smith but he does have a valid reason: He needs to narrow down which of these objects would be the saviour to stop the world-ending explosion of his home planet.

So no pressure!

Contains the following tropes

  • A Dog Named "Dog": Averted for this mostly straight-forward Object Show as the contestants have regular human names while their objects are their Species Surname.
  • Alliterative Name: All the contestants have their names begin with the same letter as their object: Alan the Acorn, Barry the Battery, Casey the Coin, Craig the Carrot, Marty the Mushroom, Tina the Tennis Ball ("the" included).
  • Anthropomorphic Food: Although they are not named appropriately, Alan, Craig, Marty are an acorn, a carrot and a mushroom respectively which would sound nice as a roasted vegetable dish.
  • Epic Fail: The final task in episode 1 is to answer a question asked by Mr. Smith. He asks how many letters there are in the alphabet, and then immediately says that the answer is 26. Despite being literally given the answer no one gets it right. Marty thinks the answer is either two or three, Tina thinks that the answer is four because "There are only two e's in the word electronics," Casey thinks that it is actually five because "There are four t's in the word electronics and the middle e counts as a double letter," and Alan doesn't bother guessing because he plans on copying whoever gets it right.
  • Minimalist Cast: The cast consists of seven contestants and one host which slowly decreases as contestants get eliminated one by one.
  • Mr. Smith: The name of the stick figure Game Show Host.
  • Mushroom Man: Marty the Mushroom, obvious by his Species Surname and the fact he's a walking, talking mushroom.
  • Non-Gameplay Elimination: Alan manages to weasel out of elimination by convincing Mr. Smith he might possibly know the location of the thing that would destroy his world leaving the host with no choice but to eliminate second-to-last placer Craig in his steed.
  • Odd Name Out: Mr. Smith as while everyone has normal names for an Object Show, he is the only one referred to by their last name rather than their first.
  • Species Surname: All the contestants follow the pattern of "[Name] the [Object]" with the name beginning with the same letter as the object.
  • Spell My Name with a "The": All of the contestants' middle names are this.
  • Token Human: Mr. Smith is the sole human stick figure whereas the rest of the cast are Animate Inanimate Objects.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: Craig the Carrot was the first one booted without much characterisation courtesy of Alan convincing Mr. Smith not to eliminate him.
