Tsukumo Fujimiya is Kanata Akagi's grandmother.
The reason she never passes down her family legacy is because she already did. (or else was convinced not to)
  • She also may be the one who wrote the light novel that Akagi uses as a catalyst.
    • CONFIRMED that she is his grandmother.
    • POSSIBLY CONFIRMED It's not directly stated that she wrote the Light Novel, however she is an artist, and her style is the original koha-ace Super-Deformed style.

The Alternate Timeline of this story is directly contiguous to Fate/Apocrypha.
Chapter 2 suggests the original Fuyuki Grail was also stolen during this timeline. While narration is vague whether it was a recent thing or not (what with it being 1945/within the context of the Second World War)—it is not unreasonable to assume that the same people were responsible, i.e. Darnic Prestone and his Nazi friends. This also potentially means that Zouken Matou is also already dead in this timeline.

Kanata will accidentally change certain events due to his presence in the past.
Nothing that would affect the Proper Human History (maybe), but things from the Light Novel he had on him which would prevent him from using it as a guide for survival in the Holy Grail War.
  • As of Chapter 3.1, he finds the Light Novel was ripped in half, so he no longer has it as a full guide.
  • Chapter 5.1 confirms that because his appearance in the past, events diverged greatly from the original timeline narrative of the Light Novel he had.
    1. Kanata became Saber's Master instead of Tsukumo.
    2. Because Kanata didn't know anything about the Holy Grail War Tsukumo took the time on the 2nd day of the Grail War explaining what it is in a hotel.
    3. Because Kanata was Saber's Master, they left behind Tsukumo when they went out to get era appropriate attire leaving the latter alone and vulnerable.

The second half of the novel was taken by Archer or German Third Reich
  • There's a chance the reason Kanata wasn't able to find the second half of the novel was because it's either Archer pick up during her fight with Saber or member of German Third Reich has it.

Kanata Akagi wrote the Light Novel.
Or rather, his self that already went through the time loop that had already experienced the events wrote the light novel he read. If what Tsukumo said was true that he can't use the Grail to travel to the future, he probably went through The Slow Path and wrote the Novel at some point in the past. That's why it can be used as a catalyst.

The Akagi family and the Emiya (i.e. Kiritsugu's) family are distantly related.
Both families have members who can manipulate time in some way. Kanata Akagi can slowdown objects he touched. Kiritsugu Emiya has Innate Time Control, which is more complex but he can manipulate his own time allowing to accel or stagnate himself.

The reason for Kanata to fade out of existence
  • At the end of Chapter 4.2, Kanata is starting to fade out of existence after his grandmother gets mortally wounded by Assassin. There are some possible outcomes might happen to him in the future depending on Tsukumo's fate.
    • First, Tsukumo might fall in love with Kanata without realizing he is her grandson before meeting her future husband or lover.
    • Second, Tsukumo gets killed either by the enemies or their Servants.
      • Confirmed in Chapter 5.1 that is if Tsukumo dies.
    • Lastly, Tsukumo gets her womb forcibly removed and preventing her from having kids.

Someone/something is going to save Tsukumo from Assassin
  • Since Kanata's existence is on the line and Tsukumo is in danger, there's a chance someone will save her.
    • Kanata uses one of his Command Seals to transport Saber to Tsukumo's location and save her from Assassin.
    • Kanata's Command Seals are a special kind that not only used to command Servants, but can be used to time travel in the body of his past self, meaning he can prevent Tsukumo's demise and stop Assassin.
    • Rider saves Tsukumo from Assassin and have Oryou heal Tsukumo's injuries with her saliva like in Fate/Grand Order.
    • A new Servant appears and saves Tsukumo.
    • Or, albeit it's not shown to potentially kick off yet, Tsukumo has already implanted Avalon inside her and gain its Healing Factor, much like how Shirou was able to survive his horrific injuries throughout all the routes of Fate/stay night.
      • Jossed. It follows the original Fate/KOHA-ACE and Tsukumo has a kit to re-attached her cut off fingers.

Rider wasn't the original Servant summon in the original timeline
  • Since in Chapter 5.1 reveals Tsukumo was Saber's Master in the original timeline, there's a chance Rider wasn't the original Servant due not to be summon by a Master.
    • If it follows Fate/KOHA-ACE, it might be possible Rider was summon in the Imperial Holy War due to Kanata's presence and changing the timeline. The Holy Grail suppose to have seven Masters and seven Servants, and there's another reason why Rider was summon the Counter Force because the original Master of Rider were killed by the enemy factions before they can summon the original Rider.
    • Rider and Oryou killed the original Rider and their Master.

Tsukumo's spouse will appear either during or after the War
  • It is unknown who was Kanata's grandfather and Tsukumo's spouse or lover. There's a chance he was either from well-known mage family, a normal citizen without Magic Circuits or he was a Master during the Holy Grail War, who survived along with Tsukumo.

Kanata plans to uses the Holy Grail to reset the timeline before he arrives in Showa Era
  • Kanata plans to uses the Holy Grail to reset the timeline before he arrives in Showa Era or make a wish he never touch his grandmother's Mystic Code to time travel. It would means Saber and Tsukumo won't remember him.

Archer Oda Nobunaga is not the proper Archer class Servant for the 4th Imperial Capital Holy Grail War and there is another Archer Servant summoned by a yet unknown Master
Nobunaga is in a somewhat similar circumstance to Gilgamesh in Fate/stay night, a Servant who persisted from the previous Holy Grail War of the story.

The identity of the proper other Archer could ironically be Sugitani Zenbujo, the one who's shot almost assassinated Nobunaga back when they were alive.

The Archer's Master could be a Nise or more Japanese American (an ethnically Japanese person born in America, thus have a slight chance to blend in with the native population) who's trying to prevent Imperial Japan and the Third Reich to achieve the Holy Grail and maybe try to win it for the US.
