WMG / Ar nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star

Warning: Unmarked spoilers.

    In-Universe Headcanons
Every Surge Concerto fan work is (somewhat) canon.
  • Because the rules of the universe state that there are endless possibility axes, meaning that in at least one of them a particular fan work actually happened, though the likelihood that it's in the exact same axis recorded by the game creators is very minimal.

    Crossover WMG
Lord Voldemort was the person controlling Prim.
Which means Nero originally comes from the Potterverse.
  • Expanding on this, it means that in that particular possibility axis there is a branching axis in which Nero is Beedle the Bard. Even though Ululiyha is from a different era than Tom Riddle, her being from his universe meant he could connect to where she was. After Nero went back, she wrote stories based on her experiences in the Exa Pico universe. She did it under a man's name and made a woodcut of a guy with a big beard that she attached to her work, because woman writers were scarce in her time.
    • "The Wizard and the Hopping Pot" is a metaphor for Nero herself and her character growth.
    • In "The Fountain of Fair Fortune," Asha, Altheda, Amata and Sir Luckless are based on Kanon, Nay, Cass and Delta, respectively.
    • "The Warlock's Hairy Heart" was solely written to talk trash about Revelt and laugh at the fact that he loved no one and that destroyed everything around him.
    • "Babbitty Rabbitty and Her Cackling Stump" is about Zill, or the side of her that was a friend to Nero. Babbitty is based on Zill, and the Muggle King and the trickster are both Revelt, and the part where Babbitty is forced to perform magic for the king reflects when Zill was made to sing for Revelt.
    • "The Tale of the Three Brothers" was based on real wizards, but also on people Nero knew. The oldest brother is Revelt; they both died for power. The middle one is Zill; they both died for love (different kinds, but the same sentiment: they used forbidden magic to try to do good). The youngest brother is Ion, who was wise and humble.
    • Jossed because it was stated Voldemort was unable to love anyone, and Player has been stated to be in love with Nero despite being an asshole that does anything and everything just to complete the game in a 100%. Also, the wizarding world doesn't have any of the technology that would be needed to control another being via Interdimend, especially given how much Voldemort hated Muggles and all they made or stood for.
Alternatively, Fire Lord Ozai controlled Prim, making Nero a Fire Nation citizen.
  • Jossed again. As in the previous case, the Avatar world lacks the technology necessary to connect to or run an Interdimend-related program.

Frozen (2013) is the distant future of the new Ra Ciela.
Elsa's magic comes from her being an Incarnate, and the trolls are a subspecies of Sharl. Olaf and Marshmallow are like Prims created by Elsa.
Alternatively, Rune Factory 4 is the distant future of Ra Ciela 2.
All the characters of that game are reincarnations of Surge Concerto's characters (because Frey is so much like Ion, come on). The elves and dwarves are a result of humans interbreeding with Genom and Sharl.
Class::EXSPHERE_NOSURGE; would not have worked at all had L'erisia been present.
Given that L'erisia is the embodiment of sentience and individuality, which Exsphere Nosurge eliminates, and that she already caused another Assimilation Plot (the Ouroboros Ark) to crumble by simply existing, this troper believes that all it would take to prevent Exsphere Nosurge is for L'erisia to simply stand in range of the song.
