Drug Dealer Simulator is a Simulation Game developed by Byterunners Game Studio and published by Movie Games S.A. The game was released in April 16, 2020 on Steam.

In this game, you play as, well, a drug dealer. You have connections to The Cartel through Eddie, who gives you the role of dealing drugs after the last one couldn't make it. From there, you go to form your own drug empire through the backing of Eddie and the cartel, slowly expanding throughout the city.

Has a sequel in development titled Drug Dealer Simulator 2, set to release in 2023.

Tropes in this game include:

  • 420, Blaze It: One of the graffiti tags you can choose is simply the number 420, because, you know, you're a drug dealer.
  • Anti-Frustration Features: Even if the player is away from their hideout and thus can't read new messages, they still got a notification for the arrival of ordered drugs and their location so they won't miss out and have them stolen if not taken in time.
  • Awesome, but Impractical: Large backpacks and duffel bags. They can store a ton of items with no issue... except you can't go into the sewers while wearing them, one of the alternative ways to get to different sectors while avoiding police searches.
  • Black Comedy: The achievement for having 909 clients overdose? "Jonestown". For context, 909 people died in the Jonestown massacre. Yeah...
  • Broken Bridge: At the start of the game, you only have access to Sector A due to the police curfews. Sectors B and C are unlocked as you level up.
  • Early Game Hell: A beginner player will easily get overwhelmed due to lack of resources and having to handle a number of clients and dealers, and it only becomes more managable once they mixing ingredients and factories later on.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: The Player Character is horrified upon seeing the corpses hidden in the apartment below their home.
  • Experience Points: The player can gain XP from actions such as drug dealing and completing quests, and leveling up gives player skill points to invest in, such as more pockets, faster XP gain, being better at sales, and more.
  • Getting High on Their Own Supply: Yes, you too can take your own drugs. Doing so while combining certain ones given you several effects such as slowed down time or nightvision.
  • Leaning on the Fourth Wall: One of the monologues points out how the player might've played games in the past "where money was stored in God's pocket" while introducing the backpack, basically telling the player, no, this isn't like those games.
  • LOL, 69: The achievement for reaching level 69 is simply titled "Nice."
  • Oh, Crap!: The monologue for when the DEA raid your hideout.
"WHAT THE HELL MAN? We gotta go! Fuck, fuck... MOVE! MOVE! Leave all that shit!"
  • Resources Management Gameplay: The game puts a heavy emphasis on keeping track of your supply of drugs, clients, and dealers. Losing track or going without careful planning will spell disaster.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Due to the war between the cartel and the Colombians, Eddie bails out of the ghetto and leaves the player independent.
  • Shout-Out:
  • Villain Protagonist: The Player Character is a drug dealer who can go out of their way to make their merchandise addictive to keep their clients hooked, even letting them die from overdosing, and running from the police.
  • Wretched Hive: Whatever this ghetto is, it is not a nice place to live. Drug dealers and cartels everywhere, tire fires are enough for police to enforce martial law at nighttime, and even the downtown areas are in poverty.
  • You Are in Command Now: When Eddie flees the city in the ending, he leaves the player in charge and makes them independent. This even allows them to choose their nickname.
