Another day in the life of the Warriors of Light.
Deltachars is a fan-made character mod for Sonic Robo Blast 2 made by DrStephen. It features Kris, Susie, and Ralsei, each originating from Deltarune, as they investigate the Sonic world to seal the Dark Fountain that has been created there.

, and is to work in conjunction with the main campaign.
This mod contains the following examples:
- Acceptable Breaks from Canon: Since this is Sonic, it's perfectly okay to attack any of the enemies you come across, since they're all machinery and not organic. It's your only choice when it comes to the boss battles, of course. You can, however, tire out and pacify the Badniks you come across with Ralsei if you so choose. Ralsei tries to invoke pacifism for the Goombas of Pipe Towers Zone, but Kris and Susie have other plans, which an annoyed Ralsei calls them both out for.
- All for Nothing: Played for laughs with the Chaos Emerald collection. Once all of them have been collected, Ralsei is grateful that Eggman can no longer make use of them. Susie, of course, is really excited about becoming Super Susie, or better yet, SUSIEZILLA! ...Though, sadly, Lancer mentions that Sonic is still the only one able to utilise a Super form in normal gameplay, with Susie complaining about their emerald hunt being for nought in terms of power-ups.
- And Now for Someone Completely Different: Instead of any of the three main characters, you play as Lancer in the Special stages.
- Bait-and-Switch Boss: Rouxls Kaard, in a duck-themed robot (akin to the Duck-themed Thrash Machine), replaces the boss of Deep Sea Zone. The fight plays the same way, however.
- Balance, Speed, Strength Trio: In this character set, Ralsei can get to higher places quicker with the right timing, while Susie's attacks really pack a punch, albeit with a lower normal jump height akin to Knuckles. Kris finds an even balance with this, capable of strong attacks while being able to get around quickly.
- Bland-Name Product: The in-universe name for Sonic Robo Blast 2 is "Spiky Robot Bash 2", shown in the first trailer for the mod as well as in the intro for Pipe Towers Zone.
- Brick Joke: At the beginning of the campaign, Susie mistakes one of the gold rings for an onion ring. By the time the Warriors of Light reach Egg Rock Zone, a curious Susie then decides to try and eat one of them, which causes your current ring count to go down by one. It… doesn't taste the way Susie hoped it would.
- The Cameo:
- In Rouxls Kaard's boss fight, the decoy robots are piloted by the Original Starwalker.
- Near the end of Arid Canyon Zone 2, Queen shows up out of nowhere (though only in voice) to advertise the return of the banana Brick Joke from Chapter 2. She even says "POTASSIUM" once you collect it.
- Damn You, Muscle Memory!: Lancer actually plays differently in the Special Stages compared to every other character, modded or not; pressing the drill button normally would give you a constant speed boost, but as Lancer, pressing it instantly gives you a speed boost that can stack.
- Developer's Foresight: Many, many examples.
- If you load into normally inaccessible zones with the heroes (like the Tutorial Zone, which is normally only accessible by Sonic), there is special dialogue written for it.
- All extra stages have dialogue, like Frozen Hillside and Pipe Towers. This also extends into the first extra special stage based on NiGHTS into Dreams… (not the other two, however), all three Challenge Stages, and the hidden Black Core Zone.
- Additionally to the above, whatever you do to the first Goomba you see in Pipe Towers Zone will have special dialogue depending on whether or not you killed it with Kris, Susie, or Ralsei, or pacified it with Ralsei.
- If you revisit Greenflower Zone after having beat the game once with the heroes, there will be special dialogue where Toriel is worried sick about Kris's whereabouts, since nearly a full day has passed in the Light World.
- Like various other modded characters, having the Deltachars loaded in with the Silverhorn character pack and taking on the True Final Boss will trigger unique dialogue from them and Facciolo, with Ralsei genuinely dreading this situation. That said, because Inazuma needs to be played as to take on the last part of the Marathon Level, it ultimately becomes Unwinnable by Design for the heroes after Facciolo is overpowered.
- Easter Egg:
- The house of RedXVI in Greenflower Zone 1 is quickly recognised by Ralsei, who knows how angry he can get when disturbed. Trying to re-enact the action here, though, will only trigger an angry Spamton inside the house.
- Near the end of Egg Rock Zone 2, Susie takes notice of the unusual disco music, hinting players towards the secret disco room.
- Humiliation Conga: Fang, when introduced, makes the mistake of calling Susie a "barney-lookin' lackey". Needless to say, this gets him thrown off his own train pretty quickly, then crashing into a nearby sign, and who knows what else.
- Power Trio: Kris, Susie, and Ralsei can be switched between at any time to fight through the stages.
- Screw the Rules, I Make Them!: Once the heroes reach the control room in Black Core Zone 2, Eggman voices his plans to utilize both the Black Rock and the Dark Fountain to become unstoppable. Not even Ralsei warning him about the potential consequences gets him to listen to reason.
- Taken for Granite: Like in Deltarune Chapter 2, Rouxls Kaard turns into stone upon defeat (this time including his head), though not before he shouts his signature "GOD DAMN IT" catchphrase.
- Take Your Time: Lampshaded by Susie if you wait in the boss arena right after the final boss, where supposedly the space station is about to crash.Susie: KRIS. GET IN THE POD!! OR ELSE WE'LL... we'll... huh. ...is... the space station even crashing down...?Eggman: ...CURSES!! THEY FIGURED IT OUT!!Susie: WHERE EVEN ARE YOU?!
- This Cannot Be!: After defeating Brak Eggman, Eggman shouts "Impossible!" as the mech explodes, right before it's sent flying and the Egg Rock begins self-destructing.
- Your Princess Is in Another Castle!: Susie lampshades this trope at the end of Pipe Towers Zone."WHAT DO YOU MEAN PRINCESS MANGO IS IN ANOTHER CASTLE!?"
