The freaks are back again...
A House For Alesa 2 is the second game of a trilogy of Explorer Horror games by Axel Vejar Dossow, inspired by horror films of the 1980s.

One year after the events of the first game, Alesa receives a call from the detective who confirms that the family is, in fact, still out there and coming for her. Alesa tries to escape, but is captured by the family patriarch, who traps her in his new house with the intent to torment her again and again. Now she will have to escape once again, and hopefully put an end to the family for good. But she soon gains an unexpected ally...

This series contains examples of:

  • And I Must Scream: The true nature of the members of Mr. Bob's family is revealed to be this. They were all once children who were abducted by him and transformed into monsters. Unable to control their new forms, they're only driven by a desire to kill, with at least some form of awareness left. Alesa is understandably horrified when she finds out.
  • Because You Were Nice to Me: The reason Greta decides to betray Mr. Bob and help Alesa.
  • Big Bad: Mr. Bob returns once again, determined to take revenge on Alesa and make her part of his family.
  • Bittersweet Ending: Alesa is able to put Mr. Bob for sleep for nearly a century and escape the house, this time with Greta, but she has to sacrifice one of her body parts in the process, canonically her ears.
  • But Thou Must!: Even if Alesa wants to purify the Mother and the Twins, Zagaracathal insists that he can only save one person, Greta.
  • Denser and Wackier: Compared to the first game, it has transitioned to an Horror Comedy with more Surreal Humor mixed in with the horror parts.
  • Joke of the Butt: Alesa's big butt is a Running Gag throughout the series, with several jokes centered around it, such as Worshippers who worship a picture of it in the Gallery or directly quoting the “dummy thicc/clapping ass cheeks alerting the guards” meme in regards to the Murderous Mannequins.
  • Shout-Out:
  • Older Than They Look: The Mother was abducted by Mr. Bob around 1920, while the Twins were abducted in 1940 and yet they don't look that old. Subverted with Greta, who was abducted in 1960 and thus looks around Alesa's age.
  • Was Once a Man: As it turns out, the members of Mr. Bob's family used to be normal children in the past.
    • The Mother had strict parents who disapproved her dream to become a dancer and wanted her to pursue the life of a housewife. She snapped and killed them, leading her to be locked into an insane asylum and be abducted by Mr. Bob.
    • The Twins were murderous psychopaths who abused animals, to the point their parents don't miss them after Mr. Bob kidnaps then. Until A House for Alesa 3 reveals they were lying. In truth the parents rejected the twins because they were born conjoined and their abuse was the reason they got abducted by Mr. Bob.
    • Greta had loving parents, but one day she got into a fight with them as most children do. She still got abducted by Mr. Bob anyway.
