Trivia / Vs Bob And Bosip

Go To

  • Actor-Inspired Element: While not present in the mod itself, AmorAltra expressed interest in having Bob know Spanish, due to his voice actor being able to speak it fluently.
  • Ascended Fanon: In fanart depicting Other Bob and Ronsip, Little Man is often added in, dressed as Amor, which is how he appears during his loading screen cameo.
  • Ascended Meme: The Bob Takeover week was added to reference the name similarity between this mod's Bob and the Bob of literally every fnf mod ever.
  • Approval of God: AmorAltra and the rest of the mod's developers frequently retweeted fanart of the mod, and there's even a fanart section in the mod's gallery.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: Following Amor's various misconducts coming to light, the mod was taken off of GameBanana and GameJolt, resulting in anyone wanting to play it having to resort to reuploads of the mod elsewhere.
  • Parody Assistance: The mod's charter Cerbera (who also appears as one of the opponents in "Intertwined") is providing assistance in an Orwellian Retcon of Amor's songs for the Roblox port Yet Another Funkin' Night that replace his vocals with that of Richard from the more comical (and sardonic) mod Crypto Crackdown. Incidentally, Crypto Crackdown is also Cerbera's own mod, giving the impression of a meta Hostile Show Takeover.
  • Role-Ending Misdemeanor: Amor, the creator of the mod, was outed for multiple vile behaviors, such as forcing the team to work on the mod with no regard to their mental health, talking to a user who is known for being a pedophile, and using his alt account on social media to stalk minors and make NSFW art of himself, Blu, and Mini, despite Mini being only 17 at the time. After all these allegations, Amor made a response, and a majority of the developers have disassociated with Amor. Because of all this, any future updates for the mod were discontinued, and the mod itself has been deleted from both GameBanana and GameJolt. The Bob Takeover week was also rendered non-canon to literally every fnf mod ever due to this.
  • Troubled Production: The release of the EX update was rather shaky, to say the least. An unknown group of people had leaked basically the entire update a while before its official release, causing AmorAltra to, in the words of the mod's other developers, go insane due to the stress of getting the mod released as soon as he could. This was only made worse when communication failures arose with Ash, the mod's lead programmer, forcing Amor to add TaeYai to the team. The staff ended up getting overworked and mistreated as a result, and when the update was finally released, it was found to be riddled with bugs due to the rush to meet deadlines. The fandom has taken this sour point as a lesson against overworking for the sake of deadlines and announcing things before they're ready, and due to this and some additional controversy, the team stopped being associated with AmorAltra, ceasing development of the mod indefinitely.
  • Uncredited Role: Amor, BluSky, and Ash are all scrubbed from authorized Roblox ports of the mod for various unrelated reasons; due to the original mod being trashed, this effectively also strikes them from almost all forms of official credit. That is, assuming they haven't been canned entirely by the port authors due to being too much trouble to deal with.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • Bosip was originally supposed to sing with Bob during parts of "Copy Cat"; this was scrapped due to his voice sounding awful with the song.
    • A collab with Wii Funkin was initially planned, but was cancelled in light of both the EX Update's Troubled Production and numerous other allegations against AmorAltra. There was also meant to be a Starlight Mayhem collab, but further development is unlikely as TheMaskedChris was also the whistleblower for the entire controversy to begin with.
  • Word of Gay: AmorAltra stated Bosip is bisexual and has romantic feelings for Bob, and that Bob is "straight, but not forever", implying he could eventually reciprocate. Amor also actively supported Shipping of the two.
