  • Acting for Two: In the English dub:
    • Karen Strassman voices Yasuko Takasu and Nanako Kashii.
    • Carrie Keranen voices Yuri Koigakubo and Sakura Kano, though she was credited under a pseudonym for Yuri.
    • Wendee Lee plays Sumire Kano and Inko.
    • Sean Chiplock voices Kuroma and Yamaguchi.
    • Ben Giroux voices Kota Tomiie and some other minor characters.
    • Janice Kawaye voices Yuriko Mitsui in addition to some one-off characters.
  • Descended Creator: Bang Zoom! Entertainment production assistants Max Epstein and Tom Bauer voiced some minor roles in the English dub.
  • Directed by Cast Member: The German dub was directed by Jasmin Arnoldt, who also voiced Yuri Koigakubo.
  • Franchise Ownership Acquisition: The first six light novels were originally published by Kadokawa's MediaWorks division from March 2006 to December 2007. In April 2008, MediaWorks merged with ASCII Corporation and became ASCII Media Works, where Toradora! would stay until the tenth and final light novel was published in March 2009. Kadokawa eventually absorbed ASCII Media Works outright in October 2013, thus making Toradora! one of Kadokawa's properties.
  • Hey, It's That Sound!: Most, if not all, of the anime adaptation's sound effects derive from those used in Hanna-Barbera cartoons.
  • Late Export for You:
    • The original light novels were licensed in English by Seven Seas Entertainment in 2018, 12 years after the first volume was published.
    • The English dub of the anime was released in 2014, six years after the series premiered in Japan.
    • In Germany, Animoon Publishing released the anime on Blu-ray in 2017, nine years after its Japanese debut.
  • No Dub for You: The only languages the anime is dubbed in are English, Tagalog, Korean, Italian and German.
  • Out of Holiday Episode: The OVA released in 2011 (3 years after the anime was emitted) is about Ryuuji trying to challenge Kitamura's grandmother in cooking skills without success. This episode is placed between the episodes 12 and 13 (after the summer vacation), but apart of the misplaced season (anime episodes occur in summer and the OVA is in spring), the OVA itself was released on December, being winter in Japan.
  • Real-Life Relative:
  • Rereleased for Free: In North America, the anime can be watched for free on Tubi.
  • Role Reprise: All of the anime's voice actors reprised their roles for the 2009 PlayStation Portable video game.
