- The Other Darrin: Draken was recast after Season 1 due to the cheating scandal and alleged suicide attempt that erupted concerning Tatsuhisa Suzuki in July 2021. His new voice actor was eventually announced in June 2022 to be Masaya Fukunishi, who curiously also replaced Suzuki in Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger and the Japanese dub of DOTA: Dragon's Blood in the aftermath of that scandal.
- Schedule Slip: The live-action movie was originally supposed to be released in October 2020, but ended up releasing in July 2021. Part of the reason for the delay was because the staff temporarily had to stop filming due to COVID-19.
- Sleeper Hit: Serialized since 2016 in Weekly Shōnen Magazine, Tokyo Revengers had modestly good sales numbers but was still a relatively lesser known series. However, upon the release of the anime adaptation, the popularity of the series exploded, with the manga topping 30 million in circulation as of June 2021 and even outselling mega-hits like Attack on Titan and My Hero Academia.

- Write What You Know: Tokyo Revengers, a manga about teenage delinquents, is created by Ken Wakui, who revealed that he's actually a former gang member in an interview, even mentioning that for a month he was expelled from school and worked as the host of a women's bar. Wakui stated that he wanted to portray the delinquents of his youth, with principles and ideals who would only fight other gangs and remained respectful and polite towards civilians.
