- Playing Against Type: The English dub is this for Central Park Media, usually they would dub any anime they licensed in New York note , but for They Were 11! they hired Animaze/Magnitude 8 Post in Los Angeles to dub it, this would be one of the very few times they've hired LA based talent with the other few times being when they hired Bang Zoom! Entertainment to dub Nightwalker, the Weather Woman OVA and some cheesy erotic Japanese live action movies here and there. note
