• Foreign Language Title: In Spain, the film it's also called The International but it adds Dinero en la sombra^note Money in the Shadow in English to the title.
• Production Posse: Ben Whishaw, who starred in Tom Tykwer's previous Perfume, has a small role as René Antall.
• Those Two Actors: Naomi Watts and Armin Mueller Stahl appeared together two years prior in Eastern Promises but they almost never share many scenes.
