• The Guggenheim shoot-out, shot on a full-sized replica of the museum's interior. A well-staged, tense and thoughtfully done gun battle along the spiral walkway that's arguably the best shoot-out since Michael Mann's Heat.
• Salinger figuring out that the IBBC wire-tapped everybody involved in the investigation and then proving it to his dis-believing boss, demonstrating that yes indeed there is something big and nasty going on... and that Salinger's investigation is legit.
