Trivia / The Emperor's New School

  • Actor Existence Failure: Very narrowly averted—the show ended literally just over a month before Eartha Kitt passed away.
  • Missing Episode: For no apparent reason, episodes 43 ("Father O'Mine" and "Everybody Loves Kuzco") and 49 ("Faking the Grade" and "Eco Kuzco") are never shown in the Disney Channel's rerun rotation. The Kuzcoween, Cornivale, and Giftmas episodes also fall under this, but it's because they're holiday episodes.
  • The Other Darrin:
    • J.P. Mannix replaces David Spade for the role of Kuzco.
    • Fred Tatasciore replaces John Goodman as Pacha. This was only for the first season, as Goodman was able to reprise his role in the second season.
    • Pacha and Chicha's kids get new actors due to the previous ones hitting puberty.
    • In the Japanese dub, Showtaro Morikubo replaces Tatsuya Fujiwara as Kuzco for obvious reasons.
  • Real-Life Relative: At the time in the Japanese dub, Showtaro Morikubo and Yuu Asakawa (Kuzco and Malina's respective voice actors), were married—however, they're now divorced.
  • Role Reprisal: Bob Bergen, Eartha Kitt, Wendie Malick, and Patrick Warburton returned to voicing Bucky the squirrel, Yzma, Chicha, and Kronk. John Goodman returned to voicing Pacha in season 2.
