- Marth Debuted in "Smash Bros.": Since ToD2 never came out in English, there are several examples where the characters appear in later games:
- Reala and Harold have a Shout-Out as accesories for Anise's Tokunaga in Tales of the Abyss, while Nanaly appears as a Superboss in the colisseum with other Tales characters. Reala herself appears in Tales of Graces ƒ as a Superboss, and in her second fight, has a staff with Kyle's head on it.
- All of the main party members appear in Tales of Graces as part of the Magic Carta minigame.
- In Tales of Vesperia, Barbatos is a Superboss alongside other Tales villains, and is a DLC costume for Rowen in Tales of Xillia.
- Judas's costume likewise appears in a few games.
- And in one example for a move, Azure Edge/Souhajin (commonly attributed to Yuri Lowell) was actually first used by Kyle in this game.
- No Export for You: Like many titles in the series, the game has never seen an official release outside Japan.
