- Acting for Two: For the first time in the same project, Nolan North voices both the Penguin and Superman.
- Celebrity Voice Actor: Samoa Joe voices King Shark.
- Content Leak:
- A massive content leak in December 2023 contained extensive spoilers regarding the storyline. Rocksteady directly acknowledged it without any attempt to claim the leaks were incorrect.
- Another leak, much smaller in scale, happened right before the full release of the game where dialogue spoken by Flash was datamined that presumably depicts him asking why he was brought back to life since, according to Batman, Amanda Waller hates the Justice League.
- In Memoriam: The Batman reveal trailer ends with Kevin Conroy saying as Batman, "I am vengeance. I am the night. I am Batman!" followed by the text "THANK YOU KEVIN" appearing on screen. The game itself had the same message (albeit not in all caps) following The Stinger.
- Full Circle Portraying: Corey Burton, who voiced Brainiac in a number of other projects including the DC Animated Universe, and Jason Isaacs, who voiced the Justice League: Gods and Monsters version of Lex Luthor swap roles here, with Burton voicing Luthor and Isaacs voicing Brainiac. Additionally, they join James Marsters, who also played Brainiac (in Smallville) and Luthor (in Superman: Doomsday and DC Universe Onlinenote ).
- Not Screened for Critics: Unusually for such a high-profile, big-budget game, Warner Bros. Games declined to send out early review codes to any game reviewers.
- The Other Darrin:
- Samoa Joe and Daniel Lapaine replace John DiMaggio and Greg Ellis from Batman: Assault on Arkham for these versions of King Shark and Captain Boomerang.
- Debra Wilson replaces C.C.H. Pounder as Amanda Waller; this version of Waller even resembles Wilson.
- Corey Burton replaces Keith Silverstein from his Voice-Only Cameo in Arkham Knight as Lex Luthor.
- Jim Pirri replaces Adam Baldwin as Rick Flag from Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate.
- Posthumous Credit: For Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy, following his death in November 2022.
- Role Reprise:
- Tara Strong once again provides the voice of Harley Quinn.
- Debra Wilson reprises her role from Batman: The Telltale Series as Amanda Waller.
- The game features the posthumous performance of Kevin Conroy as Batman following his death in November 2022.
- Nolan North returns as the Penguin and also reprises his role as Superman from Young Justice.
- Scott Porter reprises his role as The Flash from Harley Quinn.
- Schedule Slip: Originally scheduled to release in 2022, the game would be delayed to May 26, 2023 due to complications in development no doubt exacerbated by the COVID-19 Pandemic. The game would later be delayed a second time to February 2, 2024, partly in response to the backlash to the gameplay reveal trailer.
- Sequel Gap: This was the first full-length project Rocksteady had put out in almost nine years, as well as being a sequel to Batman: Arkham Knight.
- Swan Song: At The Game Awards 2022, it was announced that this game would feature the last video game vocal performance of Kevin Conroy as Batman. In a January 30, 2024 article by IGN, it was officially clarified that Conroy had posthumously recorded lines for Batman in Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths.
- You Look Familiar:
- Corey Burton had previously voiced Hugo Strange in Batman: Arkham City before voicing Lex Luthor here.
- Scott Porter had previously voiced Nightwing in Batman: Arkham Knight before voicing The Flash here.
