• Acting for Two:
  • Marty Fleck, in addition to playing Alman Kido, also voices the narrator.
  • Ditto for the Latin American Spanish dub, where Pedro D'Aguillón Jr. voices Fleck's characters.
• Celebrity Voice Actor: In the first season's Latin American Spanish dub, Seiya and Magnus/Hyoga are respectively voiced by Mexican actors Darío Yazbek Bernal and Alfonso Herrera.
• Channel Hop: The first season was streamed internationally through Netflix, and the second season was acquired by Crunchyroll.
• He Also Did: Many of the show's writers, including Marty Isenberg, Ben Townsend and Henry Gillroy, have worked on various action cartoon and anime, including Beast Machines, the BIONICLE movies, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003), Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, Bakugan: Battle Planet, and Pokémon Evolutions.
• International Coproduction: The series was animated by Toei Animation in Japan (with CGCG Inc in Taiwan assisting for Season 1 and a few episodes of Season 2). The music was recorded at Ocean Way Studios (Nashville), the sound design was done at Bang Zoom! Entertainment (Los Angeles) and the original English dialogue was recorded at Sentai Filmworks (Houston). The scripts are also written in Los Angeles.
• The Original Darrin: After being replaced by Alfonso Herrera for the first season, René García returns as Magnus/Hyoga for the second season.
• The Other Darrin:
  • Due to Shun/Shawn's gender change, female voice actors (such as Luci Christian and Satomi Sato) provided the voice for the character.
  • Despite Marty Fleck returning to voice Mitsumasa/Alman from the ADV dub of the TV series, everyone else was recast. Interestingly enough, some of the actors from the ADV dub from the series return as different characters. For example, Jay Hickman, the voice of Shiryu in the ADV dub, returns here as the manhole security robot Seiya encounters in episode 3, as well as Cancer Deathmask in the second season.
  • The Italian dub replaces most of the cast, with only four of the original voice actors reprising their roles.
  • In the French dub, everyone was recast, except for Virginie Ledieu as Saori/Sienna.
  • Despite most of the Latin American Spanish dub cast returning to reprise their roles, some of the characters were recast:
    • Due to Jesús Barrero succumbing to lung cancer in February 2016, Seiya is now voiced by Darío Yazbek Bernal; however, he was recast with Carlo Vázquez for the second season, due partly to the change of streaming service (Netflix to Crunchyroll), voice acting studio and the criticism of Yazbek's performance.
    • Salvador Delgado once expressed interest in returning to voice Misty, but was eventually replaced by Arturo Mercado Jr..
• The Other Marty: In the Latin American Spanish dub, Enzo Fortuny was originally cast as Seiya, but Netflix cast Darío Yazbek Bernal instead due to his acclaimed performance in The House of Flowers.
• Promoted Fanboy: Darío Yazbek Bernal, Seiya's Latin American Spanish VA, was a fan of the original Saint Seiya series as a child.
• Real-Life Relative: In the Latin American Spanish dub, Pedro D'Aguillón Jr. voices Alman/Mitsumasa Kido. His late father, Pedro D'Aguillón, voiced the character in the original anime series.
• Role Reprise:
  • Marty Fleck reprises his role as Mitsumasa/Alman Kido and is the only original cast member to make a return.
  • Many of the newer voice actors from the OVAs reprised their roles in the Japanese dub, including Masakazu Morita (Seiya), Takahiro Sakurai (Shiryu), Hiroaki Miura (Hyoga), Katsuyuki Konishi (Ikki) and Fumiko Orikasa (Saori/Athena). In addition, Yūji Mitsuya (Shaka), Takeshi Kusao (the second voice of Wolf Nachi) and Hideyuki Tanaka (Leo Aiolia and the narrator) reprise their roles again from the TV series.
  • In the Italian dub, Ivo de Palma, Marco Balzarotti, Dania Cericola and Adriana Libretti once again reprise their roles as Seiya, Shiryu/Long, Saori/Sienna and Marin, respectively.
  • Most of the Latin American Spanish voice actors from the animated productions once again reprised their roles for the series, including Ricardo Mendoza (Shiryu/Long), Daniel Abundis (Geki and Ichi) Armando Larumbe (Tatsumi/Mylock), Víctor Covarrubias (Guilty), Marcos Patiño (Ikki/Nero), Javier Rivero (Pope Aries and Jabu), María Fernanda Morales (Saori/Sienna), Maru Guerrero (Shaina), Pedro D'Aguillón Jr. (Mitsumasa/Alman from Legend of Sanctuary), Armando Coria (Dohko from the Poseidon saga) and Herman López (Cassios). For D'Aguillón Jr., it would be the final time that he portrayed Mitsumasa/Alman before his passing in February 2022.
  • In the Brazilian Portuguese dub, many of the original voice actors returned to voice their characters, including Hermes Baroli as Seiya.
  • For the European Spanish dub, Juan José López Lespe (Seiya), José Núñez (Shiryu/Long) and Yolanda Pérez Segoviano (Saori/Sienna) once again reprise their roles from the TV series.
  • In the French dub, Virginie Ledieu reprises her role as Saori/Sienna and is notably the only surviving original cast member to make a return.
• What Could Have Been: Enzo Fortuny, Ricardo Bautista, Víctor Ruiz and Pablo Mejía all auditioned for the role of Seiya in the Latin American Spanish dub. Fortuny was eventually selected to voice the character, but Netflix had other ideas and replaced him with Darío Yazbek Bernal.
