- Playing Against Type: Considering Nao Tōyama has a tendency to voice Genki Girls who are not too bright, more than one fan was surprised when she was cast as the very smart, very Hot-Blooded, and very Tsundere Chitoge. Plus Raku's voice actor Kōki Uchiyama usually plays aloof loners so it's really surprising and refreshing hearing him as the hysterical Raku.
- Promoted Fanboy: Y-san from Chiba Prefecture is a fan whose submission of hundreds (and sometimes thousands) of physical votes (since those require buying the physical Weekly Shonen Jump, he basically purchased hundreds of copies) to support Marika (his favorite of the girls) in the manga's official polls led to the author namedropping him during said polls' results. He gets a nod in the epilogue, where Marika is about to see him for a marriage interview. An extra chapter set ten years later reveals that Marika recently rejected his 100th confession, but if he confesses a 101st time she'll actually think it over (though she doesn't think it'll happen).
