• Ascended Fanon: The secondary story has a plot very similar to that of one of the earliest fanfics from the brony fandom Sunny Skies All Day Long. In this work, Celestia opts to become a plain pegasus to avoid having the other ponies treat her as special, while in this comic, Discord gives her this as a gift to allow her to take a day off from her exhausting and often thankless princess duties.
• Milestone Celebration: The story arc ended on the series 50th issue, one of the variants featuring the Mane 6, Spike, Celestia and Luna partying. The final page of the main story likewise ends on a splash page of the Mane 6 and various characters of the series including the pony avatars of Lauren Faust, Andy Price and Katie Cook.
