• Acting for Two: Carl Lumbly voices both Martian Manhunter and Ma'alefa'ak.
• Died During Production: The movie was written by Dwayne McDuffie, who died a year before it came out. Both this and the series finale of Ben 10: Ultimate Alien were dedicated in his memory.
• Fake American: British Olivia d’Abo as Star Sapphire.
• Fake Brit: Australian Claudia Black as Cheetah, who's British in the comics.
• Full Circle Portraying: Michael Rosenbaum provides Barry Allen's voice for the film, as opposed to Wally West like he did for the DCAU. Wally's original voice actor in the DCAU for his appearance in Superman: The Animated Series was Charlie Schlatter, who has provided Barry's voice for several animated shows and video games, beginning with the final season of The Batman in 2008. With this film Schaltter and Rosenbaum have portrayed both Barry Allen and Wally West, although the former has voiced Barry more while the latter is more associated with Wally.
• Playing Against Type:

• Role Reprise:
  • Outside of Cyborg and the Flash ^note Michael Rosenbaum does return, but The Flash in the movie is Barry Allen instead of Wally West, so while their portrayals are similar they technically aren't the same character on the League's side and Metallo, Bane, Cheetah, and Ma'alefa'ak (who had never appeared outside of Martian Manhunter's comics before this movie) on the Legion of Doom, all of the main players are under this, with Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Vandal Savage, Mirror Master, and Star Sapphire^note Although it should be noted that the DCAU Star Sapphire has a British accent being voiced by their DC Animated Universe voice actors and Hal Jordan's voice actor coming from Green Lantern: Emerald Knights.
  • In the French dub, several voice actors from previous adaptations reprised their roles here:
    • From the Batman Film Series: Jacques Ciron as Alfred.
    • From the DC Animated Universe: In addition to Alfred, Emmanuel Jacomy as Superman/Clark Kent, Véronique Augereau as Lois Lane, and Christophe Lemoine as Jimmy Olsen.
    • From The Batman: In addition to Alfred and Jimmy, Adrien Antoine as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Christophe Lemoine as the Flash/Barry Allen, and Thierry Murzeau as Bane.
    • From Batman: The Brave and the Bold: In addition to Batman and Alfred, Philippe Peythieu as Martian Manhunter/J'onn J'onzz.
    • From Superman/Batman: Apocalypse: In addition to Superman and Batman, Delphine Braillon as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince.
    • From Green Lantern: First Flight: Paul Borne as Green Lantern/Hal Jordan.
• What Could Have Been: George Newbern, who voiced Superman in the DCAU Justice League and Justice League Unlimited series, was actually supposed to play Superman here but he wasn't available so ironically Tim Daly, who voiced Superman in his 1996 solo series and whom Newbern replaced, played Superman instead for this feature.
