Trivia / Heavy Weapon

• Dummied Out: An unused song simply titled "extratrack" is in the files of the PlayStation versions. Seeing as how those versions have unique music for the main stages, this track was most likely intended for the survival mode.
• Follow the Leader: Blaster Tank for the iPhone, and Heavy Weapon: Rambo Tank for the Android, which is an even more shameless copy with bosses that are pretty much ripoffs of those in Heavy Weapon, even fighting using the same methods too!
• No Port For You: Not the game itself, but for some reason, the arranged music is exclusive to the versions on Playstation consoles (the Xbox 360 version instead uses the music from the PC version).
• Referenced by...: This game was referenced in Pop Cap's 2009 Tower Defense game Plants vs. Zombies on the Xbox and Play Station console versions of the minigames. In that minigame, you play as a lawnmower with a peashooter head shooting at zombies moving left and right akin to the gameplay the original game. It also has power ups or upgrades that are also similar to the original game as well. Even the minigame is simply titled "Heavy Weapon".
